haha jagzed the mountain crasher. once the dogfighters that made dogfighting in this game left he must have took over kinda sad really. oldschool, yea i was the first english retail bf42 fighter to master the flyby as was gatz and a few others. now they have hacks that make that easier i guess. dont beat yourself up jagzed that you couldnt fly with the best in the games prime.

falk never hacked.... you were there when he bitched about me shooting him down all the time. the crippled basterd must of had some pritty shitty hacks then. as for the match pilot comment yea i did bomb but when id be in twl matches id be fighting their pilots while my wingman looked after the call outs for tanks. member ally bein a good match pilot but i take him up in the clouds and he was fucked. i remember fighting paradigm shift in my prime taking diggs and his wingman at the same time. couldnt be that bad of a match pilot.

I remember a pilot back in the day who basically flew with a nintendo gamepad lol. And he was pretty damn good too. I forget the name..

U r thinking of Wishmaster . He flew with the playstation controller and not a nintendo pad, but pretty close .

Falkentyne had a no fog hack up until the start of PB. Still doesnt top Wishmasters infamous hack though

meh wishmaster wasnt that good considering his hacks. i know he didnt have some aim hack or something. if he did pritty sad the best outa all 3 of the turds best was prolly bodycount, he was decent. i fought wishmaster in el al, he was only decent in the 109 and alt whored to the max, thats about all i remember about him. didnt seem like he hacked.

well, pilots all have the same ego, and they're all the best! so theoretically, roger roger and chong(edit) is the best pilot.

As far as I know, Falk did not hack at least back when I used to fly. However, he did fiddle with his sound settings, aka speakers, so he could hear certain sounds better. I do not really consider 'speaker rearrangements' as hacking.

As far as I know, Wish did not hack in the BF42, but he did have a 'modified' sound driver. Thus, like Falk, he could pick up certain sounds better. I also would not classify that as an official hacking.

Any change to visual or audio which is not done with "in game options" is a cheat in my book.. Even if you just alter the sounds to hear certain sounds better, that is still an unfair advantage obtained through outside means...

eh, I don't see a problem with it... It's the same thing as someone playing with onboard shit sound and another with a 200 dollar sound card.. Are you gonna call the guy with the nicer setup a hack? No.

BTW if anyone knows how the sound thing works, let me know (JAGZ!).

Can you isolate external engine sounds in 3rd party software and amplify them in comparison to other in-game sounds? If that's what they did, I would consider it to be a cheat. Pilots use engine sounds for identification and orientation. To pick these noises up from a greater distance would be a cheat. A minor one, but still a cheat.

If you're saying he simply arranged 4 speakers around himself in something resembling a geeky seance, then that's just using directional game audio as it was intended. Just tell me he didn't light candles on top of the speakers.
