CKB and Playoffs

After seeing the schedules for next week posted, I'd like to get a response from an admin regarding my original post in the playoff thread.

I was under the impression that Cabal Kabob was going to give up their playoff position. The only reason they qualified is because they switched divisions. Doesn't quite seem fair that an admin's team was switched and now qualifies for post-season play when the division they were transferred from has FIVE teams with more points

Shouldn't NCG be in the playoffs? I fail to see how CKB gets to be there.

CkB is currently not what I would consider a "playoff ready" team. If we were to make the playoffs we will reliquish our slot to a more qualified team if one is available.

We will be giving up our playoff spot, but I would like to point out that I disagree with the statement "The only reason they qualified is because they switched divisions". If we had been in this division from the start we would have done quite fine, imo, considering our losses came to teams with a combined record of 18-2.

That being said, we will be giving our playoff spot to another team, most likely NCG. I will discuss this wil the admins of the leage later today.

Yes I agree you would indeed have qualified if you had been in your current division from the start. However, that wasn't the point I was trying to make. I was saying that without having been moved you wouldn't have qualified in your original division.

Correct, which is why we are going to pass our spot on.
