8 on 8 ctf

Is this possible? Is twl willing to do this? I believe that it will be a huge ladder for Battlefield 1942. If you are interested voice your opinion here. Collosus X

Hi Collosus, we actually were just talking about this, very good chance of downsizing the existing CTF ladder to 8 on 8. More info to come over the weekend!

Could then maybe make the ladder also availble for EURO trash?? eg. th CS have time select for all 24 hours around the clock. OR atleast a time around 03:00 PM EST so we also have a chance to play before 04:00 AM in the morning :-)

Good luck getting anybody to play at 3pm est that would put west coasters at 12pm pst. Not going to happen.

Been requesting one for quite some time now...

I can't belive we are going to 8v8 on the CTF ladder. How come you didn't start another ladder for 8v8. We have a large clan and it was fun to get everybody in a match, especially on CTF, it was fun!

I agree, we have about 30 members, and it's difficult to create a starting roster when 19 people confirm for a set match, and we only have 8 positions to fill. I am sure that every clan in the CTF ladder will agree. The most sucessfull CTF ladder (with 102 clans), is 12vs12. Its difficult to play CTF with only 8 players, as you need at least 2 on defense.

I would create another ladder for 8 vs 8.

If this ladder had at least 20 active teams with full 12v12 rosters it would stick. atm with 14 teams. changing the size to 8v8 is to save the ladder. otherwise it will most likely close.

But those < 20 teams thank us for it

I origionally thought this was going to be a "bad" idea, turned out to work well, bunch of teams in the CTF ladder now, and I like how you guys left the option to "settle" for more players.

We usually negotiate before hand, and arrange to play with 12 or so, which works well
