Vex is simply a joke and a inconvenience. Some people have been cought from what i hear. Some, and from what ive heard other wise, is hacks over ride it anyway. can bf2 come any sooner please.

You don't think people will hack bf2. Thats funny. There will always be hacks for any game no matter how hard people try to stop it. It's sad but true and it ruins the games :/
How are we supposed to be responsible for showing up for a match that involves downloading a patch for vex we had no idea was comming out. Also compound that with the fact that the issues for this vexsecure update are notably going unfixed for a week in a post by barwinator.
By the way, I really do appreciate what the guys at vexsecure are trying to do. This is my only suggestion. Release vex and do the same thing twl does with EA patches, hold it off for a week or two. Just so everyone can get it, everyoen can make sure it works and there are no situations where a team has to play a match in the same few hour period it recieves an update.
It took all of 5 mins to dl and install for me(client and server.) Then another 1 minute to forward Grassy's email to the entire clan. Then 1 more minute to connect and make sure everything worked.
No problems here to report at this time.
atleast vex is an effort to catch cheaters above what PB does. there is not much else that they can do for FREE.
Either use it, hate it, deal with it or go play somewhere else. TWL makes it mandatory, playing at TWL is not. One reason you par take in the joys of competition at TWL is the efforts they make on cheating.
Hey man I agree, and believe me in the past I have been one of the folks who just hit DL and the patch is golden and I am good to go. However tonight was not one of thoe nights for about 4 of our guys.
Also like I said I can't thank the vex guys enough for what they do for the community. I just would like for them to release their patch a week in advance of it becomming mandatory. Until the new patch is mandatory the old one is used. That way everyone has it 100% and there is no possibly excuse or reason for not having it.
yeah i understand we have expressed our dissatisfaction in the past with bugs and such. I am replying to others who can not stand Vex, nor playing bf42 any longer.
hmmmmmmmmmmm. go back 2 months on the CAL forums and find people whining about punkbuster and wanting vexsecure. then find me replying that vex will be just as bad.
Well please understand we are doing what we can to protect the community from those that choose to cheat.
We also understand that some of you are having issues with the new update and we are working steadfast to rectify this.
Vexsecure was tested and re-tested by a select few and there were minor problems along the way that were corrected.
However not all systems are the same as far as hardware and software that is installed.
A fix for the problem that some are encountering will be released sometime today and we will post as soon as it is available.
In the meantime please be patient and once again understand we are doing this for the community to help weed out the cheaters.
Yup, that new 1.7 is one buggy piece of software ...it has blue screened a number of my clan members PC's, i get run-time error everytime I close the bloody app, not to mention the fecking increase in CTD I have since installing ...DOWN WITH VEX ...pain in the fecking jaxpiece if you ask me http://www.criele10.plus.com/images/sig.jpg
