There was never an intent to turn anyone into anything, we had to deal with our set of circumstances and let the community pick the night they wanted to compete.

Sunday was the communities choice and we are simply supporting the community.

#1) I levied harder than anyone against cal prolly.

#2) Noone did anything to cal, cal did it to themselves. You can't convince 30 teams to leave to another league. trust me, I found out the hard way. You can only give teams information to keep in mind. Even with much that happened, most still wanted CAL though TWL was a thought finally. CAL pushed the people over the edge. So TWL didn't beat or win anything, simple taking over slack that shouldn't be there in the first place. Grassy, make us proud.

Well, I personally have no plans or intentions on returning to CAL. I was very happy to hear that HOT was not returning.

I honestly don't think CAL gives a shit about this old game anymore, or at least that's how one would feel if he's been around a season or two. The handling of the ladder and recent situations has been piss poor to be generous.

I prefer the more rounded competition options. All the 1v1 ladders, 5v5, 8v8, 12v12, leagues, CTF, etc.

From what I've seen, 1/3 to 1/2 of the good CAL teams are moving over. So, next season's CAL crown is going to be worthless.

Ya know, I've been through that same line of thinking in the waning days of 3 games and it's far from the truth. Anywhere teams compete isn't worthless, and if half the teams decide to move on that's up to them. The so called "Best" are exactly as good as their last game. It's just that simple.

Secondly I will remind you that BF2 is barely 2 months from demo release and I'm willing bet you they are all prepping for that. Don't count on any league getting a boon from these dropping teams; watch instead for DC and BFV to get real popular suddenly, and real unpopular just as suddenly after BF2 release.

I think if a person was going to play nam, they would have by now. yes, there's a small crew that may switch, but nothing major. The only reason why wouldn't have is computer requirments and laggin in nam.

So BF2, nam and dc will die, it's that style of game, 42 will lose a few I'm guessing because it's the style that keeps us here.

42 will retain more of its base than nam or DC I'd wager.

People play 42 coz it doesnt have heat seeking nuclear bombing jets. If we wanted that game play all of us would Play DC or JO

Just hope the advances in the gameplay and the commander mode are good enough just 2 make it like a BF1942.2

its good to see most teams sticking with TWL

To be honest I think the reason most teams ended up switching to twl not because cal sucked, but because those first few good teams decided to change to twl. Once that happened, it produced a domino effect of sorts because most people want to play where the competition is at. Which for this season is twl. Personally I don't particulary like how cal ended up being run for this potentially last season of 1942, but I'm not swearing them off or anything. I intend to play where the competition is and if that ends up being cal for bf2 than thats where you will find me and probably the majority of the people here too.

That said I'm very pleased with twl so far, keep it up grassy and co :>.

TWL is so much Better that CAl. (I hope they don't ban me on Cal for posting this.)

First off thanks for the support and we are doing what we have always done which is try to support the majority of the community needs and will continue to do so for BF1942 as long as there are teams that want to compete.

Once again as stated in other threads we are not trying to do anything to any other league, we are simply taking a sincere interest in the community and want to provide a civil and fair competition for the teams.

yeah CAL has major issues all around. TWL has a 1337 site coder and admins that work a lot better. I would like to see Grassy get banned from CAL tho Just call them a player hater and your gone.
