5v5 infantry league Registration is Open

We are pleased to announce at the request of the community:

Teamwarfares 5v5 infantry league for bf1942 is open for signups. At this time we are currently working on the rules and getting the information together for the use of Bfpro and maplists which should be posted this coming week for review.

The league will happen on Thursday nights with 9:00pm est being the default time for matching and should open in about 3 weeks.

So get your best together and lets find out who the best 5v5 team is.

Any possibility of that time getting bumped back 30-60 minutes? There are other time zones than EST, and some players in them won't even be out of rush hour traffic when you have those matches scheduled to start.

I have heard rumblings from some folks that want to participate but notice a direct conflict with the CAL 8v8 schedule. Any consideration given to a different date as not to force teams into choosing?

9th Infantry has an elite 5 man squad ready to sign up and participate in the 5 X 5 ladder. I realize that your busy, we will diligently watch for team sign up’s. Hey, heres an idea.

Seeing as TWL was considering offering prizes and whatnot for the 12 man league this season, and seeing as that fell through, why dont you guys shift it to this? That would really real the teams in .

I was charged a forfeit. I would like to say that this should not be done, and I portest to it. THe -s2- clan had challenged us. I replied on the amtch communications that we did not have 5 epople yet because of GUID problems and that we had not decided on a time. He posted on our forums. i said the exact same thing. I never accpeted his challenge and terefore should not be charged a forfeit. I also gave him a reason why I would not be able to accept immedatily. I would like this penality lifted. THank you, grassy.

Where do we sign up, i mean i have already enter us into it but where are the sign ups?? i dont want to get denied out of this so if someone could help me out that would be fantastic! thanks!

2BF never contacted us. Inactive clans should be penalized. How come you couldn't bother to contact us, but you can jump up and complain about getting a forfiet?

If you don't believe me go to our forums, they didn't post anything and I recieved no e-mails from them. I really dont care about the forfiet but again, I'm just amazed that they (2BF) made us wait for 2 weeks (or whatever amount of time it is) and then they complain about getting a forfiet. And if you can't pick a date that would be good for you in the relatively near future then maybe you shouldn't be signed up on a TWL ladder.

I made this a separate post b4 by accident.

Sorry to make another post, but i noticed that Grassy said that I posted in their forums. This is true, but I posted in their forums first about having the match and recieved no response. The way Grassy tells it makes it seem as if I posted in their forums responding to them and their "problems".

This is clearly crazy. I saw your post on our forums. What did I say? I said look at match comms. On match comms I specifically said that we did not have 5 players and would not be able play the match. I told them we had problems with getting GUID for some players. I TOLD THEM I WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO DO THE MATCH. IF IS SAY NO, how is that inactive? I want to know what king of logic, you guys at stone2k hold. I said NO!!! You guys push. I said that I couldn't do it on my forums, on the match comms, and now here. Your guys heads are made of stones. I can't get on every 2 minutes to tell you I CAN"T PLAY. I SAID IT ONCE. YOU SHOULD HAVE LISTENED!!!!
