CTF ownz the air?

with all due respect for ge ana, you have NEVER seen him put the smack down on me, rozo, or reaper in a pub. I've always matched up well with him and rozo and reaper are better than I.

did never say dr was not able to fly... but there force is that they freaking work in perfect team play... they can do every freaking class... as soon you are able to bomb enemy tank and paradrop kill all the freaking infentry then bam you got the game... all map are not like kurks and kharkov... so when you know that after bombing those tank you will be able to capture the flag by paradroping.. then have your team mate shoting down the plane on mg and flak... and your other mate is taking care that they do not take off again..

even if you got the freaking best pilot in the world you are going down some day and if you are not able to take off again since they did a good strat then your screwd. This is what exactly CCB did to us on the first round of gazala in the semi-final.. and they almost got the round even after we captured all 4 flag.. (first time that we had to use 1 guys to defend the main base in gazala 8v8 on the second round ) ;o) !

the thing right now is bf drop in popularity, clan drop but best player stay join best team.. then you got ringner "clan" what a little french only clan can do agains't that while all our best player are dropping off. but im thinking for now if we want to stay competetive in bf we need to accept for one time good "english" player that wanted to join us. since you guys are like 999999 x more then us since quebec is really low in population vs americain and the rest of the canada. Thinking about that we did a freaking good job not because we were having the best player around... how come we would be ?? vs a population 99999 more of bf player you got the ratio of more skilled player in those 999999 more...

some thing save us... team work.. put us in any other game like UT, we get owned for shure

Isn't this post started from a CTF pilot that wanted to note how great CTF is over conquest? Conquest defends itsself and we think we are superior. Well, I don't remember any Conuest owns CTF threads here.

Dread is as active as the steam the engine. There's people on that list that shouldn't be, regardless of match or dogfighting and many that have been missed. There's a crapload of conquest pilots so it's hard ot remember them all in one thing. I think domey was just given a small list.

Look at your first post, it was condoning, or at bear min going with the flow. You know I love you gar, but your ego went directly with this thread. It shouldn't of either because you know you're good (at dogfighting atleast because I've only seen you briefly in a pub).

Fuck it I edited my post. Dont feel like starting more bullshit.

But anyways, the list I threw together took me a minute to write. I wasnt even thinking of "Hmm who else". Just names off the top of my head. I could of put alot more names. Off the top my head... Xayd, Ren, BadDog, and Hos.

Theres 4 people that should be on that list rather then others. But like I said, it was just off the top of my head.

Conquest pilots over power CTF pilots because conquest is more difficult. As for the best pilot that EVER walked the face of this earth, would be a guy named "BaLzE" i heard hes looking for a clan! Hi busta

This used to be the case for Dr.

Now they have Callisto (Cruz's wingman from Broken), Vigilance (from 20id), and me (Das, pFg, 20id) flying for them.

Dr's weakness has always been the air, that just wont be the case anymore.

Dude this thread is stupid.....If you're a very good pilot, then you're a very good pilot in both leagues period. All it takes is you figuring out and getting used to playing CTF or conquest. Just like it is with the best infantry players playing both. Golden Eye and Knives are amazing at conquest together and are amazing when they play CTF for us. Vigor used to be our pilot in CTF and went to conquest and became a very good pilot there.
If you're good, you can adapt to any situtation, if you're bad, well than you suck..lol. at either CTF or Conquest....

Callisto pubs for at least 2 or 3 hours a day.

Vigilance probably 1 or 2.

I'm busy running NBFL and whatnot but I still pub for 8-10 hours a week minimum.


We arent at the peak of our abilities, but we arent rusty by any means.

The only thing all this means to me is out of all the players in a match the pilots are the key to winning. All the ground guys have to do is shoot at planes, call for planes, hold flags and pick off the very few guys that don't get bombed and strafed to death. Does not sound like any war documentary or cool movie I've ever seen. Imagine how good Band of Brothers would have been if thats all they did. It's all cool and everything, BUT, very easy to burn out on. Looking forward to a ground warfare league/ladder. Where everybody is in the same conditions and effect the battlefield directly with their weapons equally.

A. bobex hit the nail on the head, I've been playing conquest for a minute now and have adapted to it well. I find its alot harder to be a pilot in a CTF match, more on my shoulders.

b. no andy, not true, I thought the thread was completly silly, my only rebuttle was that of the top 20 cal comment. My response had nothing to do with ally's. Nor was I defending anything other than CTF pilots as a whole.

c. raze, i find conquest a breeze compared to CTF in the stress department. It feels alot like TDM imo while CTF is alot more stressful, but the adrenaline of a good flag run offsets it. Not to mention you guys don't end up in several overtimes like we do. what i would not call conquest, is harder than CTF, nadda, no way.

Its true that conquest has a greater gross # of good pilots, but with a 20:1 player ratio, I definately think that CTF has a greater concentration of good pilots.

CTF has a greater need for air vs air ability, while conquest has more emphasis air to ground. The dogfighting ladders ratio reflects it because the CTF community puts more emphasis on it. Not because conquest pilots are to busy. We're in just as many ladders as they are in. Some of us, more.

Comparing ctf and conquest pilots is comparing two differnent things. Its like trying to compare forks and spoons, they are both good but used for differnt things.

No doubt top 10.. So, you now have to compete in air 2v2 to be considered a top pilot? lol

I would love to see these top 2v2 guys see the likes of dread, naz, busta and the others domey listed.. hehe

Oh and andy, dread may be somewhat inactive, but i guarantee a rusty dread is still top 10..
