The defending champions along with the world's only TWL gungame tournament MVP will be playing and we have enough for two teams.

Thank you very much for everyone's support. I am pleased to inform the community that we will be moving forward with this tournament. The tournament will be based on the 5v5 GunGame style. Teamwarfare has confirmed agreement with BranZone to offer prizes to the best teams.

In the next week or two, Teamwarfare will be working diligently on constructing how this tournament will work. We are currently looking into single or double elimination format. Once we have everything worked out, we will setup the tournament for teams to start signing up.

Please keep in mind that we need to have a strong showing of teams to move forward. Teamwarfare would like to have a minimum of sixteen teams participating in this to make it worth it for this community and our sponsors.

Please share your ideas on how you would like to see this tournament move forward.

The standard TWL rules should be the format.... and I support the idea of double elimination.

I did think of one possible problem... I doubt 16 teams have a gungame-ready server...

That's a good observation....

I am not at this point offering, but I do have the means and power to pull up 16 gg servers in an hour's notice.... not that 16 are needed... you only need 4 (16 teams... 2 per server = 8... not likely to all play on the same night... more likely 4 games at once maximum)

Maybe if someone were to ask nicely

Will there be an anti-cheat client, unlike the previous GG ladders? If so, [OBC] would likely put a team together.

All, due to some technical challanges, this tournament will be single elimination and not double as first proposed. TWL will continue to work on developing the double elminiation style tournament while this one is being played. Hopefully in the near future, we will have a double styled system to offer.
However, signup for this tournament will be starting very soon.
I will keep everyone posted.
