why do losers report scores? i know its always been like that at twl but why? it seems like the losers are always sad and angry and give themselves more rounds then they actually got
I'd imagine it's because the problems which come with teams which lost reporting wins are more serious than the problems which come with teams which lost claiming more rounds.

Normally I don't worry about it on the ladders since rounds won don't matter, only the fact that you won.
Only crappy part though is is that sometimes they take too long to report the loss, which holds up challenging another team.
Ok, the reason the loser reports the loss in a match is due to the dispute system. All scores for completed matches must be filed or disputed within 1 hour after completion of the match. We understand that sometimes this isn't possible until the next day due to matches taking place late at night so we often allow a reasonable amount of time. If a losing team fails to report the score then the winner files a rules violation dispute, and it should be resolved within 24 hours. Any team failing to file a dispute or report the score will be dropped 33% of ladder rungs, if an admin has to report it for them. If I have missed anything please respond below and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
