total noob questions that I need help with..

ok.. so our gg 5 v 5 team was created by a clan member with previous TWL experience, and since he is gone due to a death in the family, it's pretty much me in charge..

I don't mean to be a dick but I find the navigation of this site a bit confusing.. I'm fairly new as a server admin.. so although I have found all the proper files to add to the gg server there are quite a few questions that I hope someone will help me with..

we run gg5 on the server: I know that TWL uses gg4 for w/e reason, is there a way to have both mods installed and load gg4 when it's time for a match? and what do I need to do for the setup.

also in preparation for a match.. what EXACTLY needs to be done.. I know how to exec lo3.. but is there anything else..

also outside of these questions, if there is anything else that would help make our team not look like dumbshits would help lol..

edit* what I meant about site nav was.. is there a section that explains everything needed in detail.. it just seems like everything that needs to be done is spread out all over the site.. like files, maps, rules and so on..

also if there is a good thread that already covers this issue.. then just link me.. my intent is definitely not to waste anyones time..

Yes it is possible to run those 2 mods on the server although i would not recomend it and basically I'm not even sure if this is allowed; you'd have to ask an admin. As for how to do it you can simply install gungame4 and 5 to your server and type "es_unload gungame" and then "es_load gungame4" and vice versa to switch from mod to mod.

As for what has to be done (or not)in detail or any other extra information here are the rules for the gungame ladder: /rules.asp?set=Counter-Strike%3A+Source+NA+5v5+Gun+Game+Ladder

Basically only 2 captains per match can use mm1 (message mode using y) and captains need to take screenshots of either "rcon status" or "status" depending if you are playing home or away and also a screenshot of the scoreboard (tab window) after the knife fight. All your players including you need to have net_graph 3 enabled while running your demos and take screenshots of CT and T model, as well as a complete smoke and scoreboard (could be done in 1 Screenshot)

So ya, I think that's basically it. gl & hf

With GunGame (and you must use GG4 as GG5 is still in beta and has many bugs) you do not use lo3. Once you exec the config a dead round timer starts. During this time you should be getting your SS taken. At the end of the timer the match starts. Don't forget to record your demo.
alright thanks guys..

Make sure you do es_unload (gungame to unload) before you do es_load so there isn't a conflict. I am not sure how much website navigation experience you have but I think this site is very easy to navigate. Everything is located at the top of the site within dropdown menus. I don't have experience with gungame configs but just check out the rules. Most things are pretty self-explanatory.
