TeamWarfare Europe
Here at TeamWarfare.com there are almost 400,000 registered members and nearly 50,000 registered teams playing on more than 150 ladders. A site this vast takes an immense investment of time, effort, & manpower, therefore staying ahead of the curve takes nothing short of a minor miracle. None of this is possible without the dauntless and selfless dedication of the TeamWarfare Staff, Ladder Administrators, and the individual gaming communities from whence they are drawn.
TeamWarfare is again taking the lead in the online gaming community and is on the cusp of a new era. There are currently 18 Ladders or Leagues specifically for European gamers and many more are in the works. Popular games like America's Army, Call of Duty, and Counter-Strike:Source have multiple ladders or leagues that cater to our fellow hardcore competitors from Europe.
To further support our ever increasing European counterparts, many changes have recently been enacted here at TeamWarfare. A Senior Staff member from the United Kingdom has been promoted to run all TeamWarfare Operations in Europe, there are new European ladders and leagues opening all of the time, and the staff is searching for new Euro admins and staff writers.
One of the most important and attractive features here at TeamWarfare is how the community itself often dictates progress and change. Equally important is the speed and ease with which these new ideas are incorporated into the site. For example, to simplify the manner in which European matches are scheduled, TeamWarfare's Senior Staff, spearheaded by the new European Competition Director, has just standardized the procedure to account for the multiple time zones across the continent:
Questions or comments about the new and exciting expansion into Europe can be directed to either your appropriate Teamwarfare game forum or directly to beaver@teamwarfare.com.

For example, to simplify the manner in which European matches are scheduled, TeamWarfare's Senior Staff, spearheaded by the new European Competition Director, has just standardized the procedure to account for the multiple time zones across the continent:
- Site has been updated to show 2 times at the bottom of each page:
TWL NA Time & TWL EU Time
TWL NA = EST/EDT
TWL EU = CET/CEST
- We will then be updating all of the European ladders/leagues for
AA, CS:S, CoD, etc so that times are shown as CET instead of GMT.
i.e. Friday April 1 8:30pm CET
- We will also be updating the selectable times in each ladder as follows:
8:00pm - 10:30pm in 30 minute increments.
This way - the earliest a match can be played in the Western Europe
Time Zone is 7pm & the latest is 11:30pm in the Eastern Europe Time Zone.
3 main European Time Zones & play times
EU West(GMT/BST) = 7:00pm - 9:30pm
EU Central (CET/CEST)= 8:00pm - 10:30pm (TWL EU Time)
EU East (EET/EEST) = 9:00pm - 11:30pm
- There will be a transition period as we get everything moved over to the new
times, existing matches will need to be played at their scheduled GMT times.
