it's been proven more ladders thin the competition level, I don't want some nub 7v7 team out there thinking their hot stuff b/c they can't hang with the 5v5 competition....
your reply surprises me especially coming from a supposed retired competition manager.
It's about teams that have large rosters so more players can get in. Subbing players isn't a good option being that the 1 map we play is so fast paced.
You of all people should know that only nubs shit on someones thread.

Hrm, not shitting on the thread, merely stating an opinion- and I didn't name names - I made a statement from a competitive player's aspect.
As a 'retiring' CM, I can tell you from experience - the one's who stray from the league formats are generally the less experienced teams - and as a result of creating more ladders, it lessens the amount of competition you have in an individual ladder, the more ladders = the less size of each ladder = less sense of accomplishment for reaching 1st rung... There's years of a proven 5v5 format working and being the ideal # in CS - larger numbers is merely an excuse to reach a ladder serious league players won't compete in because they are too busy practicing the league format.
