you know a competitive wc3 just isnt fun... i mean me and my friends play for fun and having to schedule crap just sux man im kinda gettin bored of wc3 all i do anymore are funky custom maps wich are fun but i mean strategy games have no place in a ladder sorry man my sugestion is disband it but keep the forum cuz the forum is great. i have a rock and i know how to use it 8^D

I was actually thinking of going into clans' channels and advertising there. Apparently, though, clans just challenge each other and post replays on wcreplays.com. I'll still give it a shot..later tonight anyways on USwest. Maybe someone could advertise in USeast? Floor, can you do Asia? ;p. SlayerofFilth
Well it seems like a few of you guys are just waiting for another clan or two to enter the fray. So I think I have a new clan coming to the ladder here. It'd be pretty cool if we could get a semi-big time ladder here. Evern if there is one clearly dominant force at the top (which it seems like there alreayd is).
I doubt anyone would want to join a TWL-like ladder because all these way uber people are too in-love with their useless Bnet accounts. I doubt they'd take the time to schedule a match that a) won't count on their record and b) will probably take too long to coordinate. I'm sure most will get sick of llamas too. SlayerofFilth

I was talking to one of my friend today who said that Wc3 was not really a competitive game... It sort of fits into what you guys are talking about here. So here it goes.
All that's probably because there is not much of a community arround warcraft 3, and the Battle.net is pretty much a "closed world". That's why I created a clan. I liked Warcraft 3 a lot, and I wanted to be competitve about it. I find most users are not really interested in being "serious" about this game, and a community arround it.
Most of the wc3 players are not as hardcore as RTCW or Q3 players would be, maybe because there is not much fame to it. Top RTCW clans are announced on gamming news sites all over, while all you pretty much have is the Bnet ladder web page for wc3.
I thank TWL though, for this ladder. I intend to play in it for a long time. Maybe Not as TI forever since most clans don't seem to hold much (mine's holding, but I have a lot of un-serious players), and most of those who do are mainly composed of self centered player who only care about their Bnet ladder reccord.

They really are tho. I play with Enmity in 2v2 games a lot but I would never make a clan out of it. WC3 is actually very popoular and 'famous'. Maybe more in Europe, but still. SlayerofFilth
