b.net is battle.net. Battle net is what you are directly connected to when you choose Battle.net from the menu of the game. This system allows you to play other players in Warcraft 3, a free service from Blizzard.

it wont let me log on to bnet. it says invalid cd key. whats this mean and can ya'll tell me how to fix it.

You got the program from Wares I'm guessing, so that's why you can't play on Bnet (or this ladder)

no my dad bought it when it first came out from best buy.

take a picture of your cd case, with the cd key showing, and send it to blizzard with a letter explaining that you cannot log onto b.net as the key is invalid. they will send you a new one.

although, since its a legitimate key and the game said it was invalid, not in use, I'd say you entered it wrong when you installed.
