Is it true that this makes SM immune to close combat?

Eldar are made that way specifically, they are specialist, DR should suck at CC because they have killer Ranged. I ONLY use eldar, I try not to exploit but many times I use f2 so that they won't chase a target, either way eldar is at a huge disadvantage because our CC guys are the weakest in the game. Especially against orks, usually WS can take them down before they get close enough to CC, but early game eldar will be in A LOT of trouble, not because they can't exploit, because their CC units are no match. Only thing that comes to mind for me would be to hold them off with turrets till I could get a good force of WS out.

Yeah, I played primarily Eldar until a week or so ago. I got so sick of people complaining about the F2 stance (when I was using it to keep my guys from chasing them - not for the bug) that I just started abusing entangle. I figure, if they're going to bitch about something, let it be the non-bug that's much more annoying...
