3&4 Fire Fighters Vs STD -> FF, although It should be interesting to watch since STD and ourselves are evenly matched
5&6 Ploy Vs Silent Warriors -> Ploy
7&8 Northern Special Forces Vs =COM= -> Bounce and his boys

1&2 XtremeKaos vs TeamGDC -> GDC cuz Polemarcus is my girlfriend

7&8 Northern Special Forces Vs =COM= -> through the past 3 years playing with =COM= very closely I have gained a great deal of respect for Oucher, Bouncer, Bush, and SEB....you and your boys always got my respect

i can forsee several possible upsets in this round...many people think they have it but are in prime territory to lose it...CTF is a harsh game

Its not so much that ctf is harsh but the fact that the tanks play a major role in this tournament and will be the deciding factor.

thats true....but tanks are a big part of UO so it was kind of undeniable....what i mean is CTF is very unforgiving....especially at higher skill levels...so even the best may slip up allowing for a team who can react fast to take advantage of that and perhaps pull off a win....any way this goes it will be interesting...perhaps frustrating...thats why i dont want to put up predictions about who will play in the last round...because even though teams may be great....there is still room for error (no pun intended ^error)

Northern Special Forces Vs =COM= ---- COM

XK > GDC (No Contest)
STD > FF (gotta give my m8s some sort of chance and props here )

From my guessings and experience with most of these teams and playing with some of them or against them with Ux/ I have come to these predictions.

wow are you that guy from that utterly unprepared misshapen team that played us third round?...lol i do believe you showed up with 3-4 guys....told us we had to play and argued with us about every single rule untill the admin sided with us on every single one (primarily because we have read over the rules thoroughly)...lol u are aware we were able to bring in some second and third string to deal with u guys... how bad did ploy have to wollop u guys in the past for u to embarass urself in this fashion?..what i find "embarassing" is that we got paired with someone who wasnt even able to come up with enough players to leagally play...

Thanks bud. Stanjel's a brutal map. The scores are definitely going to be high for all the matches. GL to GDC as well.

Yeah I'm getting pretty tired of every post in this tourny turning into a flame war. Whether you win or lose, swallow your pride and show a little bit of love.

Anyways

1&2 XK vs GDC --> GDC lots of love
3&4 FF vs STD ---> STD no doubt in my mind p)
5&6 Ploy vs SW ---> Ploy
7&8 NSF vs Com ---> Apparently Com from the looks of it

It's going to come down to whatever team has better shooters. I still think its a damn shame that the Tourny admins cut Rhine Valley and kept Stanjel. Rhine Valley would have proved to be a more entertaining and strategical map than the slaughter fest that's going to be Stanjel.
