cal playoffs - atc 2 tourney?

way to have them coincide, good planning since clearly no teams out there play in both

ATC matches are monday - thursday. CAL is sunday. There are 150 teams in this tourney....how many of them are in CAL playoffs?

Not any worse than CAL's response that they picked Tuesday for UO league because they could care less what TWL or other leagues are doing.

not like every single team doesnt scrim every day all week long for that one playoff map. zzz.

Sorry, but with the amount of ladders and leagues between both TWL and CAL, it isn't possible to not overlap. Neither league dictates what the other does, especially scheduling. As uki stated, the minimal number of teams will be effected. TWL and CAL work together in matching areas such as the SD Leagues as to keep it easier on the community. As for the ATC tournament, its schedule can't and won't be dictated by CAL's playoffs. Keep in mind it's overlapping TWL's own playoffs as well. Its a matter of what your clan feels priority is, playoffs where you win pride, or a tournament where you win prizes.

couldnt wait an extra 3 weeks for both twl and cal playoffs to be done with? I mean this is honestly some of the worst scheduling I have ever seen.

This Tournament has been scheduled for months.. way before the playoffs or the season for these playoffs.

Question for ya..
Do you think CAL is going to move CPL for TWL playoffs?? And yes that is a stupid question... we all know the answer is "no they wont".

And why should they?? TWL and CAL are not the same. Yes we both offer alot of the same things, however, both have to do what is in the best interest for their community. And honestly this CAL vs. TWL argument is older than stone wheels.

TWL try's to make things easy on the community when it comes to map rotations and match dates. However, a tournament is not scheduled around playoffs or leagues (in house or otherwise).

Now as for teams that are in the TWL S&D Playoffs, there is a lot of flexibility for your match dates, if either, you or your opponent is participating in the tournament. So please try to work out match times and dates (the default date and time for playoffs is Tuesday at 10pm est.).

Assassin.. I am sorry you feel that we are being unfair to you by putting a PRIZE tournament ahead of CAL playoffs. I wish you all the best.

actually you released the dates to this tourney like a whole 2 weeks ago. Not hard to do math and know cal regular season then at week 5 had 3 more weeks to go, then playoffs. I think you guys do this on purpose, especially here. Well simple fact if that certain teams can prepare for this tourney like most due to the fact they will have cal playoffs. And yes anyone with their head screwed on straight would take cal playoffs seriously over a twl tourney. This atc2 isnt anywhere near atc1 it lacks many huge team names among other things. anyway you can keep on bringinign up reasons its still very poorly scheduled. I know as a twl rep most of you wont admit to that, but deep down this just makes you guys look a bit unorganized.

The tournament has been planned since the annoucnement of the expansion. And it was announced to the public, 3 1/2 weeks prior to the Tournament start date.

just cause the dates were released 2 weeks ago, doesnt mean that it was prepared 2 weeks before its release...and i doubt TWL intentionally did that to screw over CAL teams...i think CAL is doing a good job of that...

I think this point was already made ( i skimmed through this ) but CAL isn't TWL and theres too much competition, ladders, leagues, cpl's, atc's, whatever to make our schedule all happy and go lucky.

The only thing I have to say is I hope I dont get any matches on tuesdays cuz thats cals-uo night. assassin you can reschedule matches if thats needed because honestly it is impossible for any league to schedule based on what another does. At that point you have to decide which one you want to play in if it conflicts and you can't fix it.

shut your mouth assassin. its people like you that make organizing tournaments such a hard thing to do. Stop your bitching. If you cant play, DONT. obviously the 150+ teams who signed up have no problem making the event.

Just because they released the dates to the public two weeks prior doesnt mean anything. Do you think they just called up activision and said "give us game bundles" and it happened? Do you think they called the other sponsers for servers and go them the second they asked?

They have done alot for you the least you can do is shut your mouth and quit your bitching.
