Forum Survival Rules and Guidelines

Welcome to TeamWarfare! The administrative and senior staff works hard to provide you with the best competitive atmosphere we can. There are a few guidelines and processes that should be followed that will make our lives - and yours - as easy as possible!

Please post all general topic threads in the General Forums. This is a TeamWarfare Call fo Duty Ladder Forum, so please, let's keep it that way. Please heed admin warnings or suggestions, and nobody gets hurt.

BAN GUIDLINES

• Ignoring admin warnings or testing patience/boundaries
  
• Racism
  
• Excessive flaming (heated discussion can be cool, personal attacks are not)
  
• Excessive off topic posting
  
• Troublemaking. Starting problems for the sake of stirring up waves will get you removed.
  
• Porn/Nudity, we can tolerate links, provided there is a warning, but blatant pr0n is unacceptable
  
• Abuse to staff will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Admins are volunteers. They didn't volunteer to take your abuse.
  
• Flaming a group that plays another mod isn't really a good idea.
  
• Advertising other sites will result in deletions, locks, and bans.
  
• Posting links to cheats and cheat websites.
  

LOCKABLE/DELETING GUIDLINES

• Off topic posts.
  
• Flaming and usless insults, get excessive and get banned.
  
• Cheat accusations. Email your admins.
  

SIG REMOVAL GUIDLINES

• Your signature needs to follow the guidelines posted in the General Forum. The sticky "SIGNATURE GUIDELINES" thread lists all sig criteria. We have people that are on 56k (yes, it's true!). Some viewers (including almost all staff) visit this site at work as well.
  

OTHER IMPORTANT INFO

• Take forum moderations and match issues up with your tournament admins.
  
  If the tournament admins does not give you the answer you want to hear, then talk to the tournament Competition Manager, who is Tekmunki
  
  
• CoD Competition Director Wyldchild is the end of the line for all ladder and forum issues, but if you decide to skip the Competition Director, it's going to be sent right to him for handling.
  
• Any Non-Ladder concerns, such as admins being abusive toward players, or admins abusing their admin status, or if you attempted to email an admin and got no response, please email qualitycontrol@teamwarfare.com with these concerns. This is the Quality Control department, and needs to be made aware of these issues.
  
• Please don't bring your specific match issues into the forums. Give the admin staff a chance to solve your problem before you try airing dirty laundry.

We need to stop posting about cheats and hacks. I assure you, that we are well aware of any hacks that are released and are already discussing the various methods of combating it. We have an experienced staff that are capable of watching demos and know what to look for to spot a cheater. We've been doing it for years and it is effective.

Also, failing any support from IW in the matter, we have taken the process into our own hands before and will not hesitate to do so again.

With that said, IW is VERY committed to supporting their creation and I have all the faith in the world that they will not let us down. The game is still young and the frenzied panic that some people are displaying is unnecessary at this point.

We will be locking any threads containing references to cheats, cheat accusations, or general ranting about said cheats and the poster will be warned. Excessive disregard of this will result in a temporary forum ban. Our forums are not the place for it. If you are concerned that we are not aware of a hack that you have found, email us with the information. Every email is read and noted.

We will do everything in our power to ensure a fair competitive environment.
