What are the cheat preventions going to be?

I only ask this because I happen to have a replay in which someone was using a mod/cheat. If you want the replay, post either an AIM, MSN screename or email and I'll pass it along to you. This guy had elephants that were pretty big, had 12 archers + driver on there. needless to say, I kicked him in the rear end with 2 onagers, but needless to say, RTW doesn't have punkbuster, or a GUID check. It's going to be way easy to smurf or do something other to compromise the integrity of the ladder and the players who wish to participate.

the fact that R:TW has replays is a good start to cheat detection. The case you have could be pretty easily caught by submitting the replay with a match dispute.

Smurfing, however, is a different problem. I'm sure it'll be looked into.

Lol you'd want ringers in teh first place?

My friend Ragnar and I have spent a while gaming together and I know the way he plays just like he knows my gameplay. I'd rather pick an all-peseant army than take a ringer.
