Back in the days of AA I was 16, now I'm 24. I'm married with a baby girl named Sophie and I work for a company doing Internet Marketing.

What are the other old schoolers up to?
Hey I'm 24 now too.
I work for the University of California Santa Barbara doing HazMat. No family yet, but I am dating a super hot vietnamese girl

I was old (well, compared to you all), and now im older, turning 40 this year. I own 2 businesses, a powder coating business, and 2 hobby shops.

I don't play AA anymore, but I do enjoy BF3.

[edit: started playing AA back in July 2002, right after its release date of July 4, 2002 IIRC.

P.S. For all the Old School players here who did not have the TeamWarfare Vet tag, I added it to you ]

Since 2002 I'm in my second house, married with a 16 month old.

I still find plenty of time to play BF3.

I'm not as old as Jeniva but I'm not far behind.
I was older than dirt when I started playing AA. Started playing when 1.5 was out. Played in all of Termy's clans.

Now playing Black ops, MW3 and BF3.

I'm still older than dirt.

Started playing America's Army:Recon v1.0.0 on July 4th 2002..played until it all of a sudden went to hell. was around 33 then, now 42. Am a Supervisor at a machine shop for Caterpillar and Komatsu mining trucks..miss the AA community, and feel that was the last stand for a decent gaming community. Played BO for awhile, and BF3 when I get a free "minute"..
DeadZombie, you should reach out to SnakeEyes from Reddawn, he is a foreman/manager at a large coal mine and he often talks about the very vehicles you machine. if you see him, tell him to stop ignoring me on steam and accept my friend request. Going on 2 years now and I send him invites 3 to 4 times a week.

Hi guys! It's crazy that I still recognize most of your names haha.

Randomly decided to see if my login still worked :-)

Date Joined: 1/30/2003

Only FPS I'm really currently playing much of is BF3. Played BFBC2 a lot before then. Tried AA3 but... yeah, there are no words for that monstrosity.

Anyway... was taking a trip down memory lane when I saw all these familiar names so I had to post.

(I seriously cannot believe my signature still works... haha)

Dotarp... I want to see if Armadillo shows up now.

Can't remember when I started playing AA but it was in 2003. Walked away after CAL got the invite league and EGLN was covering AA with vid and shoutcasts. I see a lot of these names and remember being in vent and feeling old then...
Oh wow, nice seeing all these familiar names on here

started playing AA in 2002 when I was 15ish and in high school.

Now I am a college graduate working at a Patent Law Firm outside of DC.

"It is necessary for him who lays out a state and arranges laws for it to presuppose that all men are evil and that they are always going to act according to the wickedness of their spirits whenever they have free scope."

-- Niccolo Machiavelli
Whoa, 10 years seriously? Time, the only thing that burns quicker than my dubies.

I’m 26 years of age now and I can thank America’s Army for 3 successful college dropouts. Accumulating approximately 12 credits during my short stint at failure.

Upon reflecting whether or not I should cut my wrists over this less than admirable feat, I found myself asking the same question I had my whole life “who gives a shit what the world thinks?”

That being the same attitude I took on when I decided to go around town posting fliers about the equally colossal failure that was known as our country(USA). Spawned from the realization that 9.11.01 was a completely fabricated story, I definitely had my panties in a bunch.

After a couple of disharmonious run-ins I concluded life as an angry peace protagonist wasn’t anymore substantial than before.

Then I found the quote “Be the change you wish to see in the world.” My panties began unraveling immediately. Thanks Gandhi.

I was researching a dude named Edgar Cayce and was like whoa, this guy is like Nostradamus... except far more recent, more accurate, and more documented than Nostradamus ever was. So I went a diggin’.

I found that Cayce has a reincarnation named David Wilcock. I was like, “lmfao, rrrrite” so I checked him out and to keep a long story short I found a book on his website called A Course In Miracles.

I was like I wanna’ do miracles. So I put everything into this gigantic, gargantuan gospel known as A Course In Miracles. Much like America’s Army I knew I would probably be a n00b at miracles at first. Indeed I was. But I also knew if I focused on it enough I would eventually master it even if my progress wasn’t noticeable to myself at the time.

3 years later on studying this book I’m now getting my Masters in Forgiveness and watching miracles unfold on a daily basis. I’ve had things happen in my life, that to share would be hard to believe for many so I won’t bother.

In short A Course In Miracles has guided me to happiness. I never was too much for accumulating stacks of papers. I don’t see how that or anything of this world would bring me happiness, none of it will last. What God makes lasts an eternity. I realized to strive for anything else in life aside from enlightenment would be a waste of focus.

I remember the days of my atheistic confusion. America’s Army was an escape. A good choice, the internet has brought the horse to the water. Here’s to seeing if we can drink.

In gratitude,
Nexington Von Scotly
haha funny joke scotly.

hey dtraf, too bad crazykj bought a house before you or else I would have been impressed.
I helped rack the original AA servers with the HomeLAN team and was honored to be there when Auth went up.

Best military game ever with no way to dispute it.

Unless Split is doing the naked splits
I played competitive AA here when I was 17 to 19 and came back out of "retirement" for a few months to play around the time CAL came out. I'm 27 now, and have now completely lost touch with everybody that I used to play AAO with. Probably considering I don't use msn, irc, aim, and everything else I used to log into on a daily basis.

Hopefully everybody is doing okay. I remember playing AA like it was yesterday. Time well wasted.
Good to see so many familiar names pop up here, shows how strong of a community we once had here (how I miss those days).

I was around 14-15 years old when I started playing AA. Today I'm 23 years old with a bachelors degree in communications and halfway towards my second bachelor degree in leisure management. Next to that I have started a succesful digital marketing company.

I've lost track of most of my old AA buddies, I did manage to find some on facebook. Good old memories!
