Battlefield Bad Company 2

If any of you old school AA players (if you know who I am, you're old school) plan on playing BFBC2 and want to play with some old ten and st-6 ppl, hit me up on xfire (blingxdeux) or steam (rmattox@ameritech.net). There is about 10-12 of us so far, but I'd love to see some more old school AA ppl.

Sorry mods, I know these are the AA2 forums, but I also know alot of old AA players still check these.

the beta was fun. do you have vista or win7 mattox? i use xp and it seems like dx9 machines CTD a lot.

I have vista 64 and most of the CTD errors were resolved by the end of beta with server and client patches. If you're still crashing alot, I'd make sure you have the most current video card and sound card drivers.

Is the actual game out yet? If not, what day?

5th March EU I think few days before for NA

i updated both of those mattox. waiting to see what happens with the full release. there was a beta update to correct some dx9 machines crashes, though.

I bought the game last week to play with cybe deton, but then I bought a ps3..

was probably me. you always seemed to find so many ways to kill me in AA, why would this change?

its more arcade-ish than previous BFs and thats not a bad thing, but for some of you realism lovers, there is a hardcore mod with lower health, etc.

i love how the vehicles can be countered much more easily than other BF games. as someone put it, they almost seem like they're assisting infantry than the other way around.

I only played the beta only and have not gotten the real game yet. it was only 1 map, but it was pretty fun to play. We real cool like deton mentioned to hop in the vehicles and do ride/fight. I did find the weapons to have a "relaxed" aim to them and was able to shoot some guys when i should not have.



AA was fun because it was you die, you have to wait til the next round to play again. Added a little realism in that people would be a little more careful (in matches) with their actions trying to live. The best part though was playing matches and pubs with all the people here. Even getting to know guys on other teams really added to what made AA for me.

I ordered it, will be getting it tomorrow probably. I'll post what name to add ingame.

I just joined some ladder and league for next season in AA-NA just for the fun of it... living in DC since way over a year btw^^ Where are you from again?

steam's stats on AA3 are impressive. Very impressive. I think it is making a comeback.

anyone decent, want to make a team? A lot of real bad teams out there, and there 5-6 of us(I am including deton.) Who regularly rape pubs, or rape each other in pubs, on the other team, would be nice to find some more AA people, who are decent and make a team of 12 people to play some conquest in the TWL league when it comes out.

I know admins, this belongs in the recruiting forums, but I am looking for specific people, that check these forums.
