Patch 2.8.3 Information

America's Army Overmatch


Version 2.8.3

...has been released!


With the release, all AA Ladders and Leagues have been temporarily shut down. Please see the sections below for specific information on all Ladders and Leagues.

WARNING: CDC will not be usable on 2.8.3 until it is updated! More information will be released when the CDC server is fully mission capable!

NA, EU, and Oceanic Ladders:

• All Ladders will be closed for 72 hours (until 3rd February 2008)
  
• All current matches are to be rescheduled OR, if both teams agree, killed.
  
• On 3rd February 2008 the ladders will re-open for challenge. This will be done at a random time during the day.

North American Leagues:

• The leagues will be played as usual.
  
• Play will begin again on 4th February 2008
  
• PLEASE NOTE: This may change before monday - if so, the NA league staff will make an announcement. Unless an announcement is made, the leagues will NOT be postponed.
  
• See your League Forums for details on how this affects your season schedule.

TWL recommends that you use some type of download manager for a file this large as there could be file corruption issues.

It has now been officially released.

CDC will be updated using the full version of the game - those that patched may have discrepancies because of this and TWL recommends you download the full version should any issues arise.

CDC will not be updated until at least monday

Explicit, can we add a link to this thread to the homepage?

I would assume, competition would want to run WITHOUT the spawn delay. But since I hate to assume, could we have a statement on whether to run the spawn delay or not in matches and if so, how long?

why would you want to play without spawn delay, it alloys you to prep your gun, and better time running from spawn.

There is a post in the leadership forums on the delay setting. Have your founder check it.

I have no opinion on it. LOL Just curious as to the TWL stand on it for matches.

Sorry I should have been more clear. The post is for feedback on whether it should be implemented or not. We haven't made a descion on it at this time.

I would check the leadership forums however i have emailed 3 times and have not been granted access. So can you make an announcment telling us how to impliment it
