Yes I love the the idea m8... it is definately worth a try! The team I'm in now has never participated in any league before... this will be a great opportunity to familiarise ourselves with playing in leagues. When this idea is brought to life, I'll definately talk to the rest of the clan to sign us in.

Power ladder is good idea, but you shouldn't schedule teams against each other who already have a match scheduled on the map in league

Matches on the power ladder can be cancelled I believe - I will run some tests now

Most league teams will also be in many different ladders so where would they fit in the time. But an interesting idea.

Yep, there is definatly way to many ladders at the moment, and trying to arrange a team to compete in another one would be a nightmare.

Plus it all depends on the default time of a match, our guys like alot of people have work and familes, so for example the default time for the current EU 4v4 league is 8:00 PM CET, trying to arrange a different time is a nightmare and in 90% of the cases it can't be done. It's a shame you can't have a old age person section, that could have the matches at sensible times.

There are many places you can go to find other teams to play against, which is usually done through IRC, Xfire or the like.

You could also pick a handful of teams, to become testers for yourselves, so they could play a map which is not usually used in matches and then feedback comments to yourselevs, sort of like a review panel.

It would be the same as the current ladders - starting at 8pm CET and ending at 10.30 CET

If we made it any earlier, such as 7pm CET, that'd be 6pm in places like the UK - way too early.

But, as proven with the previous EU league, that was a hard thing to do. Many nights we (knights) used irc, msn and vents to find scrims but nobody was around. Point is, EU don't use IRC as much as NA.

That would be an extremely inaccurate test, sorry.

It owuld be ok , if it would be locked as a teams/clans , not some teams of a friends , like theres now in ladder atm. Then u have another problem to find out what is a team and who belongs to it. But thats something u need to think about. And i think if all things would be checked and find good , that kind of ladder would be very useful.

Why would this be an issue? Most clans use friends to ring in their scrims when they can't get four - as long as they're on the roster, I don't see the issue

Yes, it´s a good idea. Indeed an excellent idea.^^ I think teams would enjoy this ladder like a challenge to come better. =)
