Prices and sponsoring?

I was just wondering if any of the Ladders and leagues on TWL has a price given to the winner?
It would be very cool if a sponsor could be found for some of the ladders. I know that some teams have recived sponsorship, not too long ago gaminghost.com(I think?) searched for a clan with a server-rental. Now, they could afford sponsoring ONE clan, it would'nt be THAT hard for them to give the same kind of sponsorship to whole TWL, who would give a lot more promotion than just a single clan. And I'm pretty sure our clan would accept a banner for that company on our page, if it supported the sponsoring company.

not a good idea in my opinion you add prizes and soon we'll have every damn cheater out there in here trying to get the win you add that and soon there wont be any ladders because people will get discouraged and quit

this i guess will happen in a scenario like that what it all boils down to is as long as we dont have Anti cheat code that will remove all possibilities of Cheating then we cant have competition that is on the level as well

i think we should stick to the Honor part of the game meaning we fight for honor nothing more nothing less

i mean i've seen Multiplayer games getting destroyed for less troughout the years

TWL is an amateur league. This means that you don't play for money. That eliminates the personal prizes, but i'm sure that if the whole thing could get sponsored (sci i'm thinking...) then it would be alot easier.

agree... just give the winner a nice gif, as recognition for their win

The Gif is a good idea, The Gif should include the winnings team name so it can't be modified easily. /me things 200x200 would be a good format since the team could then use it on their TWL page aswell as on their own web-page.

Any good artists out there, please send me your 200x200 gif and the assoiciated photoshop file. The winning team name should be easy to modify in a photoshop layer.

For the Squad name use either their tag or the full squad name. For templates use "[TWL]" as the tag and "The Wining Squad Name" as the full squad name.

The Competition I have in mind is the "TWL Euro League season one", so that should be part of it aswell.

No,I had never seen that page, but I have now. That looked really cool, 2000dollars for winning, thats like a dream. But still, I think any clan would be happy with a server-rental for one year, or computer-parts, homepage-space. Anything!

The gif is a great idea, something like that for the us 6v6 cqb would be cool.

Oh yeah, a gif would certainly be fine. I've been in many tourneys where the winners got a special (or not so special in some cases) trophy to put on their website. Of course if have some lame artist do it, it's better left undone (I know you wouldn't...).

Don't get me wrong though, prizes are always nice

yup we are sponserd by gaming host

ten has been sponsored twice...if you look hard enough it isn't all that difficult to find a sponsor...Although, we parted ways from both due to lack of a server manager type program like goamericasarmy.com which is why we now have an official leased server.

Im missing something here. Which competition is the .gif for? The CQB ladder? That's all I need to know then I'll try my best.
