LEAGUE PRESEASON

Hi, I was wondering since the first preseason match is supposed to be on the 6th why no matches have been scheduled and what map....

Teams have until the 5th to fill their rosters, schedule won't be up till then

After the 5th will teams no longer beable to add new recruits to the their league roster? Or will that only be closed during the play offs to keep people from filling up on ringers so to speak

form what I've heard it will close for playoffs, but you can add mid season if you want to

What it means is this:

The teams that don't have 4 or more by the 5th will be removed and no other teams will be able to join.

Teams with four or more may continue to add player up to three weeks before the play-offs.

Also, if your not in the Conference you selected it's because we are trying to balance them out. There is no difference between the two.

Is the balancing strictly numerical, or do you take into account the teams record on the ladder?

numerical at this point.When they get four they go to the next available slot.

I think giving them until Thursday before announcing a schedule doesn't give any team adequate time to plan their strategy...You should know for a week who and what you are playing...

So did we decide if the league matches will be 8 v 8 or 6 v 6...I'm thinking now that most servers are going to have serious issues supporting a bigger match like that, plus most teams can't put together a solid 8 man team...I voted yes, but in retrospect I'm seeing the other side of the mirror...

Friday night is also winning in the vote I forgot to mention...Did most people forget that 90% of people have lives and that Monday-Thursday are easily the best days for league play?...Look at any other gaming league...no one uses Fridays because people have lives and go out and do stuff.

InfiltrationLeague used Wednesday.

And I know some members in [ROE] that take friday as beerdrinking day.

The date was voted on by the founders and the vote was for Friday, so Friday it is. The team size is default 6v6 with a minimum of 4.In other words, you don't forfeit until you have less than 4.6v5 and 6v4 can be done without agreement. A vote will go up for the times during regular season, pre-season matches will be at 930pm est unless you agree to something else.

Thats why we put it to a vote. The admins didn't vote at all this is all form the community. they want to on friday Not us

yeh mattox this is what happens when there are a bunch of kids who don't work every day, and are too young to go out and party and respect the value of a weekend!!! lol Nothin goes on all week then Fri-Sat & Sun matches - the weekends shot- i try to schedule all matches i can during the weekdays but when your challenging you don't get the choice, and yes I work bright and early - but it's great to break up the week with a late night match.

this was the only reason i really hoped that the league would be able to schedule their own day with their competitor, as opposed to a fixed day. I knew it would be another weekend night. (sucks cause i'm already out every other Friday for date night with the wife and bowling

oh well- hopefully enough of my guys are available to stay in- we have 20 signed up!! hehe

Yea Friday is a really bad night for the league, well atleast for me it is because I go out every Friday and Saturday night (as about any other college student does)

Remember, You can play your match ANYTIME between Saturday and Friday. It just has to be completed before Friday. Pre-season matches don't count, they are just shakedown matches so folks know how it works.

So, let me make sure I'm understanding this correctly in that you can take your Friday match and play it anytime before the next Friday match?...Whoa mass confusion, but I guess it will work itself out...

will we be able to play league matches on our own servers to help free up twl?

WE're not sure yet. We are talking about haveing clans use there server for the league. But we arn't sure about the detail.

One thing we can do is have a clan set up a server for two other clans. this way no clan plays on thier own server in the league at way there is no complaning about cheating.

You can Please email me or psi if you have a server that is able to suport a min of 6v6 and if they can support more please let us know.
