I've asked for an vote to be put up concerning the 6v6 ladder. So that there is no misunderstanding:

The vote is whether or not the 6v6 ladder should convert to a default of 8v8 with a minimum of 6v6. What this means is that matches will will be 8v8, but you WILL NOT be given a forfeit unless you have less than 6.In other words, you can play 8v8 8v7 and 8v6 without needing an agreement.

yes: convert it to default 8v8

no: leave it the way it is

The vote will be global so all may vote, not just founders

I thought I would mention that smaller teams are going to suffer from this one.. Shoot even some larger teams will suffer from this one.
Well it looks like objective is going to 8v8 and combat is not... sounds fair enough... that gives one option for both size teams...
nope, I don't see the poll??
I think It's a great idea, we always have more than enough membrs willing to play just not enough slots...this offers some flexibility to the current sys.

I think the move to 8v8 will probably push the Butchers off the respective ladders. We are predominantly older players who need to work lives in, and it is sometimes a challenge to field 6!

We are recruiting, but very slowly. We are only interested in a player who's personality meshes with ours - which usually means older guys. We have several guys in their 40's on the squad, believe it or not! I'm one of them...
Right now, Objective is too close to call, and combat looks to be staying 6v6

When is the vote over with??
Yeah I have the same question... when does vote end? My squad is anxious to join but we probably won't unless it goes to 8v8...
i agree - the whole "team" objective isn't really seperated with 6 players from teh 4v4 ladder. The servers are req'd to play 20 and 20 is an awesome match- 8v8 would be great!

As for the smaller teams- they can play 4v4 or combat or get more players or play more regularly, or they can play with 6 - we have only 20 total members and 12-15 will show up for every match!!
Both combat and objective is close to call but going each way, perhaps thats not a bad thing

Should we set a voting deadline?
I want to change my vote from Yay to Nay on this if possible...
All votes last two weeks.

I'll deduct one from yes and add one to no when the vote is over.

It seems odd to put this to a general vote rather than a founders vote. If the squad is large and wants 8v8 then they have more to vote for the change. If the squad is small and wants to remain 6v6, then... The large squad has the larger vote numbers, so the larger squad wins... I think that this should be considered before changing the minimum number to play. Going to an 8v8 format will ruin the ladder and it will fade out much sooner than it will in its' present form. Just my (strong) opinion.

General vote is good - everyone should get one vote- founders vote- large team 1 vote equals 30 players smaller team 1 vote reps 4 players? how's that fair? States have representatives based on population!

hehe..it's "team" ... have a maximum player limit and anyone can bring as many as they'd like up to say 10, combat's not always even teams?- 6 man good team could easily take 10 man normal team. (i know i'm reachin now but you get my point)

or how about another ladder?? 4v4, 6v6 AND 8v8 AND 10v10!!

I'd love to play a full server with my entire team and there are many groups out there who could pull this off!

THis game was meant to be played in numbers... 4v4 and 6v6 just don't differ enough from each other in strategy, you throw in 8 or 10 WOW... field day!! lol

You lost the point. It is a TEAM game, not an idividual game. It should be one vote per team on that particular ladder. Anyone can see that it would only take a few large teams to sway the vote because smaller teams cannot come up with the votes to overcome, but that doesn't mean that a proportionate amount of teams will participate.

That decision was rushed a bit, don't you think?

I believe that is the point. That way the larger teams force the vote to go their way, rather than all teams having an equal say in the decision.
