Easy, spyware free way of making money by doing nothing. You get paid every 15th of the month. Oh, btw, it is better if you use FireFox as your browser. Go to this link and follow the steps: http://sub.cabletvtalk.com/

Good Luck and have fun making money soldiers!!!

O_o

Wouldn't it cost as much (electricity bills) or even more money to keep your computer running 24/7, long enough to make a reasonable amount of money?

Edit; That's just a theory, I have no idea how much money it costs to keep a computer running for 24 hours straight, for a month or longer.
Post edited by GIGN^- at 3/2/2005 6:27:16 AM

------------------------------
No, if you leav it running 24/7 you will start out making $75 a week. That isn't counting your refferals.
how does it pay , through paypal or somthing ?
Only problem is I keep getting "Cannot connect to server" every 10 minutes or so and I have to refresh it. So it's not really working to leave it on when I'm sleeping or at school.
Post edited by dansik at 3/2/2005 7:49:53 AM
Heh my friend tried to get me to do that, day later he came and started talkin about how crappy it is and that it has spyware and viruses and I shouldn't do it. Be careful.
http://homestarrunner.com/sneakvideo.html
lol i showed how to do this to pyro and now he told everyone.

lol ive done it and got about 10 bucks, but they banned my acccount so i had to start over. Me and my other clan leader are gonna do this everymonth and then buy an AA server from allfrag or something.

Yeah there are 2 ways to hack it so you never actually have to see it, I'm leaving it on a PC at school that no one uses lmao, and hopefully I'll make a lot... leet. Yeah I thought that about electricity but if you get enough referrals it should make money. So did they actually send you the money? I'm doing it by mail since my paypal is a noob.
edit - ps medic whyd they ban your account

My buddy and I tried a few of these back in '99-'00. I forgot the names of the sites they were for. I haven't tried surfjunky, but the ones we tried required you to have mouse activity every few seconds. He simply made a program that moved your mouse around randomly. They sites caught on to that (I'm sure we weren't the only ones doing it), and changed it so that you had to visit a new website every few minutes. My friend then made a new program that allowed you to program mouse movements. Basically, you program in where you want the mouse to go, and what to click on, and it did it. So we'd program it to click through our bookmarks. I'd program mine before going to sleep, then leave it run all night long. They never really caught on to that one. I think the most I ever made was like $25 in one month (my buddy got as much as $80 in one month). We kept doing this for a few months, then all of the sudden, the checks stopped showing up. No idea what happend to those companies.
i just signed up, but the freakin web pge refresher dies after a few mins, page cannot be displayed.
you guys should really get a job or something.
my pc is on 24/7.. other then an occational reboot.

Alladvantage, very popular one back in the days...I used to use them too...They all pretty much ran out of buisness by q1 of 2001. Seems like they are making a comeback though but different companies. I have yet to find any actual proof of SurfJunky's payout.

No computers don't use that much electricity, just turn your monitor off.

It's a scam people... here is alittle research.

From what I've concluded after doing a bit of research, is that SurfJunky is another scam.

The domain surfjunky.com is registered to "Primo Creations"

Here is the location of Primo Creations:

2864 Turkey Point Rd.
North East, Maryland
21901
United States

The company offers a phone number, feel free to call them at 555-555-5555.

The company also has a corporate email, feel free to email them at primocreations@hotmail.com. The password question to his email account is Favorite pet's name? (So professional)

The domain was registered with GoDaddy.

Now if you know anything about domain registering, you know that you only go to GoDaddy, if you want to pay the cheapest price for a domain. You don't go there as a professional company.

The site http://www.primocreations.com greets you with a flash video from Popeyes and a Lil' John song, no copyright information. A professional company would not do such a thing, you can get sued. (And as a Flash designer might I add that for a company that has such broad knowledge in the coding industry, you'd think they'd know how to embed a flash video?)

Many of you may have heard of AutoSurf.biz, which was recently sold. By guess what "company"? Primo Creations. Why? Probably because the "company" owed too much money and decided to take a run for it.

Now some of you may have read the Terms of Service, some regular user wouldn't read this, because it's boring and filled with useless information, I totally understand you

But what I have found out, is that he just took the Terms of Service from another site and used it as his/her own. A real company would not do this, they'd get a lawyer and write up their own ToS. To see this for yourself, do a quick search on google.com with this exact text: "By signing up and actively using the" (which was taken from the first line of surfjunky.com's ToS)

For surfjunky.com this "company" uses http://www.slackos.com/surfjunky/ as its image host. Slackos.com being also registered to "Primo Creations" This site greets you with a default Apache HTTP server test page, the "company" didn't even bother changing it, looks like somebody was in a hurry to get his surfjunky.com scam going.

So all the sites that I have seen affiliated with "Primo Creations" are listed here:

http://www.autosurf.biz (No longer owned by Primo Creations)
http://www.slackos.com (image host)
http://www.surfjunky.com (get paid to surf [yeah right])
http://www.primocreations.com (...)
http://www.theprimonetwork.com (seems to be some re-seller account that the "company" purchased to host their domain

At the end of every month (Before you get paid) You are banned for using illegal programs to 'inflate' your balance.

Report them Here:

https://rn.ftc.gov/pls/dod/wsolcq$.sta...Z_ORG_CODE=PU01

The complaint should go under Computers/Internet.

NOW YOU KNOW THE TRUTH BEHIND SURFJUNKY"S SCAM.

have fun kidies.

lol keep me posted
To get paid you must make $25 in a month... you don't lose money if you don't make that, but it is rolled over to the next pay period.

So say you run it for all month. Let's put in 24 hours downtime because of power failure, system reboots, etc. Also we use a 30 day month.

(.45 USDollars / hour) * (24 hours / day) * (30 days / month) = US$324

This is pretty good.

Now, if you don't run the computer all the time, but have it on for like 8 hours a day, you would still make over $100... 4 hours a day, over $50.

That's pretty good... too good to be true? Keep us informed. I suggest trying to get paid via check... that way if they do send it the first time and stop, you have a return address. Also the check has their acct. number which can track it.
