Ok, first off, this is not directed to anyone in particular and any squad in particular. It's obvious that rescheduling has become such a big issue that a rule has been made to allow it. Here is my opinion. Do not flame me, we can all be mature about it:
I am very upset with the new rule that allows teams to reschedule whenever they want. Why reschedule? If you challenged a team or picked the dates you picked, why should the other team have to suffer because you couldn't get your stuff together. Don't challenge or accept challenges if you know you can't make them. Even if you know you can't make it, what's the big deal about taking a llama, I mean it's just a number in parenthesis. In Global Ops my clan never showed up. But rescheduling never even came to my mind. Instead I showed up with 3 other guys and duked it out 4v7. We never won or ever got close to winning, but there was no shame in our loss as we knew we tried our best with what we had and had failed. It's just an online game for pete's sake, nobody is going to make fun of you at school (or at work for some) if you lose or forfeit a match. At least I know I won't. I've heard from other teams "Hey man, we have lives, we don't dedicate ourselves to playing this game, we have better things to do". Then what the heck did you sign up on a ladder for? We all have lives, so more than others. I've got teammates who have girlfriends and jobs and go to parties and do whatever they do, but somehow they make it to the matches. Theres nothing that makes me as angry as pulling out 6 teammates from their lives and having them show up for a reschedule. This is just my 2 cents. Food for thought. I don't expect anything to change but at least I'll know my opinion is out there. Thanks for reading-
Again: This isn't directed to any squad in particular, there have been about 4 or 5 occasions where events descripted above have happened. I'm sure they won't be the last. So don't hold a grudge, because I'm not.
