EXEC files

The use of any EXEC files, for any reason is not allowed while using CDC. The use of them results in a 90 day suspension from match play. A second use can lead to you being banned. This rule is clearly stated in the rules and will be enforced.

No someone could make a mistake or not be aware of the rule.

Yeah just like my clan mate as!!!!! He wasnt aware this wasnt allowed, the only reason he did it was cos he couldnt be assed typing in the full ip etc....... and thats just cost him a 90 day suspension, which to be honest is a tad harsh, its not like its a hack or influences his game in any way etc........ Maybe a warning e-mail would of been suffice in this matter to warn the player.............i think there should be more time spent getting the real hackers that we come across EVERYDAY and ban them not people that are lazy and cant be assed typing in the full ip etc!!!!

ps: no it doesnt mean they "basically hack"!!!

Alls my clan mate did was use exec a & exec play instead of typing in the full ip, so basically lazyness cost him 90 days of matches, which will prob result in us dropping twl altogether.......so please dont jump to conclusions, if using exec play n exec a is hacking then AA/TWL/CDC are in for a rough ride!

In my defense I sent this email, which I have not had a response to! Seems like the appeal system is null and void in this instance!!!!

"Okay I can now explain these files to you, after panicing like a mad man!

The two exec`d files that you talk of are "a" and "play". These are two files which I use to enter a game without typing "start". "a" is to login as admin and "play" is to enter our server and play.

I have attached the two files for you to view.

In light of this I would ask that you remove my ban as the only thing I am guilty of is running those to HARMLESS files whilst on CDC which i did not realise would result in this all happening!

I look forward to a very swift resolvement of this.

You honestly think because you say it's not a hack they should just take your word for it? I'm not saying you hacked but look at it from their perspective. There's only so much that can be done to catch hacks, and banning all execs is one of them for a very, very good reason. If what you say is true, don't be pissed at TWL, be pissed at the shit ass hackers that make such rules necessary.

yep this is very true. but where is the consistancy here, a guys got banned for 30 days for the exact same reason as Spanky but Spanky got banned for 90 days. u cant justify that!!!! Thats the gripe here, he accepts he broke a rule (he didn't know it wasnt allowed) but he did not cheat, but i think 90 days is a tad harsh specially as someone else only has to suffer 30 days!!!!

basically instead of typimg in 213.228. etc etc n password to get in a server u just type in exec a or exec play and it puts u straight in the server , just a quick way, but apparantly you get banned of rthis as my member as just found out, which is reciculous!

read the rules, and keep appeals out of forums...

hmmm excuse me but do you see me appealing on here???no u dont....u see someone who is majorly pissed off, voicing my opinion. Is that not allowed???? I thought thats why u have forums!!!! hmmm obviously not!

Next time read the rules, and you wouldn't have to worry about it. You don't need a key for that, there's not point, o man gota type in some numbers. Its good that twl bans this because 99% of the time its for something other than connecting to servers etc.
