There seems to be a big misconception about the power ladders. Let me breifly explain thier purpose and use.
Power ladders are a scrim ladder. The idea is a way to make it fun to keep track of scrims and to give a little meaning to them. They are designed to be used right now. They ARE NOT designed to be used like the regular ladders where you set up times in advance and go play your match. With the power ladder you get a scrim in IRC or via match coms and you play it right then. The losing team can report the loss and each team can earn some points.
Power ladder matches are only valid once played, not once scheduled. If you decide to schedule a match 3 days away, and the other team does not show, you do not get a win unless the other team so chooses to report it. Any team can cancel a match at any time until it is played. Once played it is an official match. If a team then cancels the match, you can ask the admin for help. The team will be kicked of the ladder and not allowed to rejoin. If a team is found to be stacking thier record against teams that dont' exist, they will be kicked off the ladders.
If you are expecting more from the power ladders, then you are looking at them wrong. It is just a fun way to keep track of scrims, nothing more. The idea is that they are basically admin less ladders, because thier should be almost no work to do on them.
If you want to schedule matches far in advance and prepare, then you should stick to the regular ladders, if you want to do that with the power ladders, then you should be prepared that unless you actually play, nothing will be done by an admin.
I hope this helps everyone understand the purpose of the power ladders a bit better.
