DSP500 and Win XP problem!?

My DSP-500's were working fine last night and all of a sudden my mic just stopped working in the middle of playing Americas Army.

I could hear fine but the mic doesnt work. I went to "Control Panel - Voice - Voice Test" and it says:

"Error Message: Windows Cannot Execute DPVSetup.exe, Use Add/Remove Programs Control Panel to Install"

I dont see anywhere to install such a device... I searched and there is the exe file already on my computer. After looking online I found this link: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=282882 but it doesn't help me. My settings for Audio Hardware Acceleration are already all the way to the right.

I think it's a software problem with XP because my stick mic gets the same error. Any ideas?

EDIT/ I reinstalled the Plantronics Drivers several times and still get the error.

Exact same thing happened to me about 2 months ago. Mic just all of a sudden stopped working but sound was fine. Re-installed, looked for updated drivers. Nothing. Luckily I had 3 weeks left on their one year warranty and Plantronics replaced them no questions asked.
VERY STRANGE - I kept reinstalling the driver and now all of a sudden it works again... ::knock on wood::
