PErsonally, if my wife & I could haev kids, they would be allowed a TV/computer and such in their room, but it would be easily removed. Send a kid to their room?

Hey, that's where most of their stuff is.

Beat their ass, take their toys, make 'em sit without any "toys", and let them enjoy themselves then. Kids expect too much in the way of luxury these days.
