Thnaks to all SAF who played tonight.
Another great game in the SAF/SRU series saw SRU take the first map, MP06 Castle, 2-0 with some good teamwork.
SAF rebounded with a great 2-0 win in Airport. Their better play here was well rewarded.
The third map was Ghost Town. SRU Started well, winning the 1st game 5-1. A well co-ordinated team plan paying off. SAF started well in the 2 game with two quick kills. But SRU came back to earn a hard earned 4-4 draw and look at OT. A viscious nade spam from each team saw SAF make the first kill, SRU taking the second, but a nanosecond too late. This made it 1-1. In the third and final game, SRU made 2 early kills with nades. SAF tried to make up the deficit but SRU took out their advanced guy planting sensors. to make it 3-0. SAF did manage to pull one back before each team exchanged kills to make it 4-1. SAF had to go for it, but their last guy, having made a great shot over the width of the map to make it 4-2, was now exposed having taken his shot, and turned out to be an easy target as he tried to make cover.
SRU finally managed a win against their arch rivals SAF. Its just as well that they are also are greatest allies.
I expect we will be doing this again on a map near you.
