3. Suspended Players

Cheating Dispute Rule Changes

Due to the increasing claims of cheating in matches with zero supporting evidence, Teamwarfare is taking the following actions.

To file a dispute over cheating you need to follow the below listed format, or your dispute will be thrown out, and possible penalty could result for your team.

New rules addition to go in effect immediately.
______________________________

Disputes over cheating:
If you feel your opponent was cheating during your match, you must do the following to file a valid cheating dispute.

#1 Take a reasonable amount of time to discuss the issue with your own teammates. Take time to cool off and rationally talk about the issue.

#2 Watch your own demos, and site specific players at specific times during your match where you feel they were cheating. You need to have reasonable evidence to file charges.

#3 If you feel you have reasonable grounds, initiate a dispute. List your concerns over specific instances during your match and include these in your dispute.

example:
At x:xx minutes in the X round, player XXXXX did this. At x:xx in the X round, same player XXXXX did this. ect ect.

#4 While you are filing your cheat dispute, get your own team demos uploaded so an admin can get them instantly.

#5 Notify your opponent in match coms as soon as you dispute so they can get their demos ready for review. You must list the specific charges of specific instances and players in coms.

We have far to many teams that do not treat the dispute button with any respect. They seem to feel that they lost, so lets hit the dispute button. No grounds, no evidence. This is slander, and is the worst form of unsportsmanlike conduct.

We take cheating accusations VERY seriously. You should too. What we have now from teams is not serious at all.

We thank you for competing on Teamwarfare.com and want to assure you that we do take disputes very seriously to insure you get what you and your team are searching for.... fun.

Match Replays & Replays Rules Update

It is important that during matches all hosting teams save all replays from their matches and provide them to the visiting team when asked for. They must also be sent within 24 hours of the request. StonedCold and I have been dealing with several infractions to this rule of late and it should not be happening. Replays are an important part of the match process and the infractions will be dealt with in a serious manner. Best thing guys...save them and get them to who they need to go to.

The rules for saving replays for all the Ghost Recon Ladders have been updated.

Please be sure to re-read the rules for any ladder that you are a member of.

.:: Replay Saving & Distribution ::.

In the interests of fairness and the lack of an effective Anti-Cheat solution for Ghost Recon, all servers are now required to save replays for ALL ladder matches.

These replays are to be handed over to a Teamwarfare Admin upon request, where they will be subject to review by the Ghost Recon Replay Review Board. Replays are to be held no less than 2 weeks after match date. There are consequences for not producing replays when asked.

1st Offence - 15-day suspension of Team involved. Team forfeits match.

2nd Offense - 30-day suspension of Team involved. Team forfeits match, drops 25% of the ladder.

3rd Offense - 45-day suspension of Team involved. Team forfeits match, drops 100% of the ladder.

4th Offense - Team banned from Teamwarfare, Team disbanded.

Because of the way that Ghost Recon saves replays, if the hosting Teams server/website is not setup for the visiting Team to save/download copies of the replays, then it is the hosting Teams obligation to distribute the replays to an opposing Team Captain within 24-hours of the match, if requested.

Suspended Players

A new feature has been added to assist the admins in keeping track of banned players. Only one part affects the general community:

Suspended Players:

Admins have the ability to suspend a player from match competition. They CANNOT play in a match, but they CAN access the site and post in the forums.

If a player is suspened a note will appear in his team roster. For example:

http://www.teamwarfare.com/viewteam.asp?team=Challenge+Us+%2D+We+Suck

Site banned players, whether permanent or temporary will be removed from team's roster entirely.

Teamwarfare IRC Channel for Ghost Recon

This is another reminder to all Teams, that the admins can be contacted via IRC (Internet Relay Chat) if you have any urgent disputes or problems.

IRC Server details are:

Server: irc://irc.gamesurge.net
Channel: #twl_GR

You can also find admins on the main channel: #teamwarfare

My nickname on IRC is: TWL|Beaver

I'm pretty much logged in all the time except when sleeping or out in the real world. (I even log in when at work.)

If your new to IRC, like me, then check out an easy to use client called mIRC at http://www.mirc.com

If you have any questions then I'll try my best to help.

Reporting A Loss Instructions

We have been having a lot of questions and concerns with this issue so I figured I would help to make things easier for a lot of people ...

To report a loss you need make sure you are signed in with your username and password. And remember only Team Captains and Founders have the ability to report a loss.

On your Team Page you will see a box called Team Administration . There you will note the game ladders you are currenty competing on . Click on Admin Panel . For the 1 v 1 , 2 v 2 , 4 v 4 you will click on Report Loss , once in there you will need to note the scores of each map played. Make sure you place the correct numbers for the cooresponding teams . Below the list of maps you will see a button stating Report Loss . Then I believe it takes you to the next page to confirm that you are reporting a loss to your opponent.

For The Power Ladder it is just a little different . Once in your Admin Panel on your team page , you must configure the maps first . No match will be able to be reported without this being done first . Once this is done click on Report Loss and there also you will need to supply the scores of the maps played. Once this is done it will ask you to confirm and once you do so it will post the loss. Main key in reporting a loss on the Power Ladder is making sure you first configure the maps.

Any other help needed please feel free to contact either myself or Kaiser .
