I think it is crucial to have 1 RNG map and 1 tank map. I am not going to name names, and I know it is part of the game, but camping in tanks and on the 88 the whole game definitely makes it no fun, and really pisses people off and turns them away from playing on the ladder.
last few teams we have played have not been following the new rules.
Also you need to remind people that it is not professional to be talking smack about how you are getting owned and laughing at them during the friggin match.
9th GD owns up to the tank and 88 camping. It is called using the weapons provided in game and using strategy to make the best use of these tools.
As for the trash talking....INC do you want me to post screenshots of your teams comments from last night? Thought not.
What I see is a game where some teams use all the tools provided and others that want stock CoD. TWL has Stock CoD ladders that are free to join.
I personally think one RNG map and one tank map are a good balance and gives a good idea of how good a team really is.
As for camping in a RNG map......ever heard of an ambush?? You know that little thing were an unsuspecting foe walks into your killzone and you surprise him with a hail of bullets? A strategy that goes back to the dawn of time.
I only post my comments because I see that some people want to make the game more advantagous to their team and their playing style. What TWL provides us is a forum to challenge other teams and compete in a friendly manner. They have a thankless job and when they ask for assistance from the participants it is lacluster at most. Us, the public at large, tend to cry about rules, tactics and how the ladders are being run. TWL staff is not paid nor endorsed. Give them a hand when they need it and if you feel a ladder is broken, make constructive comments about how to best fix the problem. Don't be part of it ok.
