PAM Admin User Guide - for CoD and United Offensive

To coincide with bulletworm's recent announcement regarding the offical Version 1 release of PAM: UO, I have officially released my updated PAM Guide. The guide supports PAM 1.05a, for regular Call of Duty and now PAM: UO.

FYI and Warnning...I just tried to check out the "hand word doc version" from Anex and my anti virus popped up with a virus dectected. You might want to check this out Anex.

I scanned ith Mcafee here at work and it didn't find anything.

I'll most definitely take a serious look at this and resolve the issue ASAP; thanks for the info.

GI Jane, what virus scanner are you using?

I just scanned it again with Mcafee and Norton Utilities and both report no virus problems with those or any of my files. If I don't hear back from you in the next few days then I will put the link back up as everything seems to be ok here - I checked the file on several computers, including one not connected to any network.

Anyways, get back to me with the scanner and specific virus it detected.

glad it helped.

I put the word doc link backup; I had another friend of my scan it with PCCillian, Mcafee, and Nortons and he found no problems. Should you ever post with the actual virus details and scanner, I'll certainly check it out.

Note: I updated the guide to add the new TDM settings for Bullet-Worms beta.

Thanks for making them available via .doc format.
(If you wish them as .pdf's so they can not be updated
as you go along, I would be glad to help. I have Adobe
Distiller, and would gladly run them through for you and
shoot them back to you same day.)

When is TWL going to aprove PAM for match play?

That is completely up to the admins here, though I am certain that it can be mentioned in match comms and if accepted by both teams then accepted it is.

The only known bug to date is a problem with limiting the AXIS DMGs (Deployable Machine Guns), and preventing the same gun from dropping if that is a rule. This has already been resolved but will not be out till the next release sometime this week. (My plan is to put out a mini-release once a month to update rule files, etc to keep PAM UO as close to stock as possible for all leagues.)

Anyhow, other than that, I have extremely few reports of problems, and none that I can verify as being a true bug in PAM UO.

TWL will approve the latest version of PAM after it has been checked out by the staff. We will let you know once it has been approved.

Is there currently an approved pam for COD:UO S&D classic ladder? If so where do we find it

There are no TWL League 'Approved' mods at all at this point, there are league 'example' config files that can be found in the downloads section of this site.

PAM UO might be league approved in the future. And you can find it here: http://www.garetgg.com
