The Countdown Begins

Well as much as I love the game, I might have to give in. If there is no patch/linux server files/remote console by Nov 9th, this game is being traded in for Halo 2. I'd like to trade it in while I can still get money for it.

I'm not giving the devs an "ultimatum" because frankly I doubt they care about 1 server admin. What I would like is an ETA on all of the requests stated above if possible before Nov 9th. Thanks.

Ditto. The crickets are getting louder here as this place becomes more desolate, and we're not getting the assurances on pending updates that we once were.

Yup..i'm probably gonna sell. It appears that the Devs have no interest in helping the mod community improve the game...therefore there isn't any reason to stay when there are plenty of games out there..like Halo 2...which will be chock full of mods.

I hate it when Devs have no understanding of how much a community means to the life of a game.

seeing other games die aka other la titles (ja&jk2) as a result of much needed patch issues makes it a lot easier to realize what's already happened w/this game. It's too late, the game is dead.

And other better games coming out too...back then it was CoD that twisted JKA's neck a coupla times and HALO too.

This time it is gonna be Half Life 2.
