New Dev Update 10/20

Still no mention of linux server files or a server admin console. Should we (admins) just give up on this game?

I am most displeased with their apparent lack of progress.

eh...you realize it could be late next year before we get the game decent. :/

argh..seriously considering selling while the game is still going for over $30 used.

I'm definitely not selling my game...but I can't play it online at this point. Just too frustrating

The game itself is fun, but I'd really like to get our paid server up and running. We only run linux. So right now we have an empty box waiting.

What bugs me..and really takes away all my hope for this game is the complete lack of any news on an SDK...for all we know it will never happen...and that's the only reason i'm keeping the game...for mods. No sdk..no mods...

That and I bought the game for a star wars version of battlefield experience...I got a game with good infantry and only moderately ok vehicle combat (except for the walkers..always alot of fun flight combat is pretty much non-existant at this point. The game NEEDS mods so badly.

Any suggestions on where to sell the game at? I'd be more than happy to get rid of mine for half the price.

Me too....any takers? THIS MULTIPLAYER SUCKS! Single player is great though! ^ Ebay might be a good choice if no one buys it outright....or EB games will buy it back and you can get another game worth a crap!

try practicing instead of bitching.

I get my butt kicked all the time in MP and I still love the game.

If you go up against bad players, you'll never learn anything.

If you go up against really good players, you'll get better.

If you're not that good (raises hand) and you play with good players, their strengths will help compensate for your weaknesses - if - and only if - you work with them as a *team*. Try to do it on your own and you'll consistently be bait.

When you spawn and there are are guys spawning there as well and they all head out together, *follow them*. When they go to attack a target, try covering their flank and shooting from the side angle at what they are firing at. The opponent can only shoot at one target at a time.

Every once in awhile, I do well and that makes it all worth it. :-)
