*STOCK MAPS ONLY*

I've been talking with several good teams in the TWL league, and the majority would like to see the customs replaced with stock maps. Why would a top team wanna risk losing a match on a map they've never seen, and oonly have a few weeks to prepare on? Some teams are even considering dropping the league over it. And rmg's...lets dump the rmg's also...kthx.

i agree with that maplist completely. RMG maps have their rightfull place, it is on the TWL ladder. this league should avoid RMGs. Siege will be a fun custom this week but for regular season i think we should go with this stock maplist. for the finals i think we should have 2 maps for each match: one chosen by each team with admin chosen for 3rd tiebreaker. total caps at end of map two wins the match. if tie then they play admin chosen 3rd map. (or play barn elim )

Yes, let's just stick to the maps we know and love for the reg season and playoffs. I don't have any problem with RMGs either, since we've all seen those before, and they're all somewhat similar.

I know (Bx) doesn't have the time or patience to learn new maps.....and I'm sure there are others like us.

If 2 equally skilled teams play on these cutoms maps, the team that had the time to practice and learn the map will easily win.

If 2 equally skilled teams play on a stock map, it will be a close and competitive matchup......which will be better for the league.

Yah, I agree with Furious. Stock > Custom. I don't think teams are going to drop the league over it though, but if they do, let 'em.

I dont think there should be many rmgs, but I would like to see at least one (in the regular season) kept in the maplist. There are lots of teams who enjoy them and its only 1 map for the whole season. Some teams hate hk2, or jor1, etc but will play it as its only 1 match.

I also think it gives some diversity and a change of pace. The funny thing is (I know Ill get flamed for this ) but the mojority of the payers who dont want the rms are on/from the upper tier stock maps teams. A lot of the less known and unproven teams might actully stand more of a chance on a rmg against these other teams.

I think we should keep at least 1 rmg in.

This is the first game that I've ever played that doesn't have a single custom map in any league or ladder rotation. Why is that? We're on season 5 in CAL and TWL has had ladders open for well over a year now yet there isn't a SINGLE custom map in any rotation.

Sure, this is what pre-season is for. Try out custom maps. Shopremix was a bust but siege2 is looking very promising, and we have Twitch ready and willing to tweak the map for competition if it has weak spots. Why aren't we willing to give it a shot? Afraid of losing? Don't want to practice?

We'll be flexible here, we are after all a community league. No RMG in the playoffs. We'll discuss dropping the other RMG in the regular season. But sometimes admins have to make a stand on certain issues that we feel is for the good of the community. This is one. There WILL be at least one custom map in the regular season. Otherwise, its just another stock league with a different name. There's plenty of those already. If you are going to drop over one custom map, then I feel bad for you.

Don't be afraid of trying something new, who knows, you might like it.

I just want to give the admins of TWL SOF2 (and the main guy who posts here) a big pat on the back. You guys take our input into account, and always give everyone a fair chance. You're strong stance against cheating is also admirable. Even though some people might complain that they have to post the last 8 digits of their GUIDS, or that you guys are too hard on cheaters, cheating is the biggest problem in this game, and this league is making big strides to prevent it.

Yea, im really considering dropping this leauge if it doesnt get a better map list. i joined this shit for competition not to be a test pig for some gay ass pos custom maps, or rmgs. Furious has the right idea.

SOF2 is coming to it's end...Teams DO NOT want to practice a new map over and over again in the remaining season.

stock > custom >>>>>>>>>rmGAYs

one custom map is acceptable (compromise people geezus) if there are NO rmgs in the rotation. If a team wants to play rmgs, they should join the ladder

heh all I see is stock greater than custom. A list of about 8 maps..... sheesh gets awful boring. Play the same guys on the same maps time after time after time.... wouldn't take long to burn out on that. Remember variety is the spice of life, it is what keeps the game and life new. Most people can practice the same map over and over till they get good at it. Take new ones and do good, shows skill and being able to adapt to new surroundings. But opinions are like a**holes, everyone has one, and this is mine. Have fun!

Yes...me and sicko are the reason sof2 is dying...get a fuckin life. I'm not complaining about shit. I'm just trying to make suggestions to the ladder so some of the best teams (efx and cafn and a few others) don't quit the league over it. I could give a fuck about what you want Twitch...but if 2 of the top teams leave over custom maps, then this league will be shit.

I seem to remember the CAL league playing custom maps like mp_alora and another I can't recall... and nobody quit that league. I would not leave just because an "elite" clan left. Its all in fun and some people just need to give in a little to please the majority.

i thought this was supposed to b stock maps only -_- then an rmg gets put in.. i mean if we wanted to play rmgs we woulda joined the rmg league..
