Attention

Browsing through these forums I notice that there are a few outstanding issues that need to be resolved. I realize that it is important to get these taken care of in a timely fashion and I apologize for not being able to take care of them myself. We have brought on a few new ladder admins to help with the increasing load and keep things running smoothly.

To rest easy the people that have outstanding issues, I will handle them all personally tonight come hell or high water. Please refrain from posting any more information about them on the forums.

Contact me on IRC or via IM tonight and we'll get it all straightened out.

I would like to add that in the future everyone should remember that the admins do have lives and things outside of everyone elses issues. Give them a little slack (like a day or so) to address peoples issues/problems. Also, calling them names most likely will not help your cause.

I am in no way an admin here or anything, but find it disgusting how these people who VOLUNTEER their free time to the sof2 community are treated.

I appreciate the kind words Frick, however, even as a volunteer it is still our responsibility to make sure that the ladders and leagues of Teamwarfare run smoothly and issues get resolved in a timely fashion. We wouldn't volunteer in the first place if we didn't believe in that. I take this job as seriously as I do my rl job and it turns my stomach to think that I have let down the community of my favorite game in any way.

Unfortunately the rl job comes first but hopefully the additional admins will insure that future disputes and questions are handled without pause.

Yes, lets please get an admin ruling on the whole efx thing so we can clear this up and get back to having fun.

The match was not forfeited for the reasons efx stated.

It was forfeited because they were idiots in the match comms, a completely valid reason.

The admin did the forfeit will be spoken to about not following up with both teams, but that is not grounds to reverse the ruling.

That's the short version.

Ok, I will accept the forfeit loss, but please fix our record, as it shows us losing to LMS, making us 5-2. Looking at past results, forfeitures do not count in the standings. So please adjust the records accordingly. Thanks.

I'm sorry you feel that way.

Should I allow poor sportsmanship to continue? How would you have ruled? Did you even see what was in the match comms that got the team forfeited?

Do you have any suggestions, or are you just the usual troll that criticizes without any real feedback?

As Vlasic had stated, poor sportsmanship is a big factor in rulings like this. We WOULD be a second rate league if we didn't respect the teams and players enough to prevent poor behavior and actions that cause the matches to be unpleasent for the teams involved. I'm sorry that you feel we have not met your expectations for a gaming league and I hate to lose any good team. More competition is what keeps sof2 alive.

well I for one am Welling to give and recive. while I do feel that the ruleing was a good one. EFX has a point to the match. Of course we didnt know as there is a time differnce here or we would not have played, so we all had to play. I would like to offer swapping spots with EFX if all partys agree. we will take 5 they can have 4. They and the whole community Have my apologie for my part in this matter. I should not have let this drag me in to a quarrel.
Had we known what was taking place before the match got started maybe we could have done all this in a different manner. EFX i do respect your time and wopuld like to offer our spot to you for yours if that would be acceptable. You did put up a good match and thank you. In the future maybe we can have a clean match with out the hatered and bickering

Hey pleez fix the TWL league Schedule!!!!

kod is scheduled to play VIRUS on Thursday. They have NO ONE on their rsoter,havent played ANY matches through 4 weeks of season, and have told me that they arent playing Thursday.

kod would like to continue in this league and help it grow. We just need to have matches versus real teams that have players and such.

In addition, the admins had a week off to fix schedules and they pushed the league back a week. AND they still could not figure out Virus was not playing ????? WTF

Hopefully you have admins in place now to fix these problems or this league will go down. I would expect league admins to contact all the clans listed and ensure who is playing the rest of the season and remove teams who are not. Not too complicated or time-consuming.

Im not here to bash TWL or admins, but seriously, I could spend 2 hours this week contacting teams to confirm their willingness to play TWL league and if you need me to I will do the admins jobs to ensure success of this league.
