2v2 Admin question

Ok I just returned from the 21st annual Laughlin River Run
(Harley Davidson Rally) (My 8th time)So anyway WOW am I pissed.....My team captains didn't accept a challenge on our 2v2 team and now we have been dropped from 8th to 22nd?
What the hell is this shit????????????????????????????
All these teams that never play and I am on vacation for 5 days and get dropped that many ranks.....if this wasn't a mistake you can kiss my ass goodbye........DooM has been a active team on TWL for well over a year and have been in the top 10 on MOHAA team elm SOF2 inf ladder,2v2 and now the inf league....If this is the way we can expect to be treated after all the hard work we have put into TWL DooM is out......You decide........PS posted here due to never ever reciving a e-mail response from any SOF Admin....

DooM is a non-troublesome clan (for the most part ) i hope that one little mistake can be dealt with without dropping to #22 on the 2-vs-2 ranking. mistakes happen.

Grath...I tried you on IRC lastnight with no luck...it showed you on and I messaged on gamesnet and interthegame...
This is simple really were we dropped to #22 by accident or not? If not an accident is this decision final?

I can quote rules etc etc but the bottom line is not accepting a match = forfeit loss.

A forfeit loss = a drop in 10 places. Its the system that we've had for longer than I've been here.. Its built into the ladder.. the admins take care of non-acceptance forfeits via a point and click interface.. pending forfeits are flagged and the admin clicks them away.

the other 4 places you lost were probably a result of some teams winning and moving ahead of you.

I appreciate your anger but you can't blame the system. There is nothing personal in awarding forfeits for non-acceptances. We also cannot afford to play favorites with rules like that. I know ya'll have been dedicated but there is nothing I can do.

If you choose to leave TWL over a single forfeit loss that is your choice, but I'd instead encourage you to challenge up and take your spot back and also remind your teammate that accepting matches while you are on vacation is a must
