What do we have to do to get a ADMIN to award a forfeit?

Our match last thursday was a forfeit and after 5 e-mails over 3 days and still no action???????????????
I realize you guys are un-paid and have lives however cant you recruit some people who are interested in keeping this thing going?
I for one am quite frustrated on the lack of support time and time again........

I dont know if you have tried but usually you can get an admin straight away on irc. I would recommend that every teamget an IRC channel on enterthegame and/or gamesnet. Just a suggestion.

Reaper, I honestly haven't seen your email. Unless you sent it over the weekend to me (which I was not feeling well at all) I didn't see it.

To make life a little easier, CC all the admins on the first email. That way if there is a problem with one, at least someone else will be able to handle it for you.

I apologize for any delays.. when I get home from work tonight I'll check for your email and take care of the forefeit if it hasn't been addressed already.

IRC can be a little daunting to get into, but its a great tool for communication with the sof2 community.

Actually I started Thursday night with the admin listed on my admin panel satoshi.....On Friday and Saturday I mailed yourself and the other SOF2 Admin.
Anyway what server and channel do you guys monitor? I dl'd the program but theres tons of servers and channels

Mainly enterthegame on #teamwarfare

gamesnet as well but not as much SOF2

I would recommend registering you team a channel. It is a great place to find scrims and interact with the community. If you need help you can find me on #LANpimps on etg(enterthegame)

Thanks to "TWL|TotalCarnage" He handled the forfeit for me and allowed me to challenge.
However He may have cleared my current 5v5 west match which we haven't played yet.Doggus couldn't make the Saturday match so we scheduled it for tonight....not sure what you can do...It says defeated by DooM so could one of their guys hit the report loss? Or would it say that if He gave us the forfeit?

it could be either.. Defeated by DOOM means you have won (either by forfeit or report loss) and are ready to challenge up again. He may have forfeitted both? I'll try and find out a little more info. We'll fix it if that's the case.

oh and in reply, enterthegame.com and gamesnet.com are the two big IRC servers for sof2.. You'll find me idling in many clan channels as well as #teamwarfare on both networks.

When in doubt, you can also message Garath|TWL

If its between my normal proving hours (7pm est - 1am est)I'll respond in less than a half hour. You can also simplify it by telling me the problem right away and the instant I see the message I'll take care of it.

OK heres the deal.....While our 2v2 match was a forfeit our 5v5 match was scheduled in the match coms for tonight....it appears we were awarded a forfeit on it as well...The only game mentioned in my e-mail was the 2v2.So can ya do anything to fix the 5v5? We were scheduled to play Clan Doggus tonight.

go ahead and play the match, I'll have a sys admin fix the forfeit win hopefully by the time you need to play it.

hehe, ETG is really slow and clunky.. if you have problems with ETG, go with Gamesnet.. either server you'll find me on #teamwarfare.

IRC is a little daunting when you first start.. its damn handy though

yes I have it on my forum----sorry I must not have been clear it was our 2v2 only....and didn't help the match showed last sat as the match date....Doggus couldn't play the weekend so we agreed to play tonight....lol and I knew it would happen but we were challenged just now---just to make it harder on ya ;-)
