Woah, CHAOS didn't forfeit vs Strength & Honor!

Hey we didn't forfeit that match against Strength and Honor. I received the challenge on Thursday evening, and sent out a message on Saturday morning to try to set it up. What is the time frame supposed to be? If I replied too late, then I guess I have to accept that, but a day and a half seems like a pretty short time frame.
Correction, The email was time stamped Thursday, but I did not receive the email until Friday night. And I check my email every night. Either way though, I still replied within 48 hours.
The problem is that you did not use the Admin console to set everything up. Thats where we communicate. There are 4 captains that handle this, so you did not use the right channels. I had a message up there very shortly after we challenged, with all the information that you needed. Why didn't you ever check it? I also contacted one of your captains, since your leader's email was not posted. I gave him more information, and advised him to log onto the Admin console, gave directions in the email as to how to do this, and gave him a copy of all the information pertaining to whose server, availability, and pw. The admins decisions are final to my knowledge. I do think you have 48 hrs to respond to a challenge. We don't want to have to wait 2 weeks to play a match.
Well, I guess we have to just suck it down then. Forgive us, this is the first time we've been in a TWL ladder, so I had never seen the admin console before. We'll try to follow up through the appropriate channels next time.
Good message for all of us to learn by. Thanks for being stand up about it. Can't wait to see what this ladder looks like in the next few weeks, after all the llamas are gone.

Good luck!
Just like reading the readme.txt files. We had a similar instance with G-Money clan who challenged us without even having a server or having arranged for one. In the rules regarding challenges, it expressely states that it is the attackers responsibility to have a server available to them on a T1 or better line. They thought that TWL provided the server, or if not, then they thought someone would just give it to em.

I sincerely hope that the ladder will be better once the llamas are gone.
You have to expect a few 'issues' to be worked out before everyone starts jaming to the same tune.
I'm new to FPS ladders, as most FPS games give me a splitting headache. Oddly enough, GLOPS does not. Anyhow, am I reading the correct meaning of a "llama" by saying it's a team that does not have a dedicated T1 server available for matches?
No no. Llama is actually a signal that extremely stupid people use hidden in texts. They do this to signal their interest in meeting other people of similar intelligence levels. It's pretty handy if you don't want to flat out say "Hi, I'm a complete moron." Of course, sadly, the end result is the same.

This flame was supplied by me and by me alone, and in no way to my knowledge does represent the thoughts of other members of [Geno].

Love, Energy

[edit note]: Removed the .sig since I don't want to offend anyone's delicate sensibilities.

Actually I think you are quite familiar with Llamas. A llama in this case is someone or a group of people that make no attempt to gain knowledge regarding rules or structure of anything they try and participate in. Basically the type of people that throw away the directions, proceed to get hurt because they never bothered to read the directions and follow them, and then scream that they are the victim, when really its their own ignorance and lack of intelligence that led em down the path in the first place.
We broke no rules period.

No doubt. Lovely isnt it? Not to mention your "poor decision" was more then just singular.

Wow again, you really aren't that bright are you? 2-3 supporters? wtf are you talking about? Is Wabbit running for president or something?

As far as I can see all he is doing is discussing the rules. You are the one opening up with the personal attacks... Really going a long way to make Geno known as immature flame whores...

You get stuffed into too many lockers?

Shrug, why don't you just go away wabbit? You seem to have maybe 2-3 supporters here. I tried to apologize to you, but apparently you're too much of a loser to handle anything. Had you followed your own advice, you would have just ignored our posts here and gone about your carrot eating business. There was really no reason for you to even offer a comment, seeing as how you still don't know what you're talking about. Plain and simple, we didn't break a single ladder rule. TIMF.

Wow man! How do you survive everyday? I am surprised that you haven't been hit by a bus yet. You are amazingly perceptive and I am surprised by your ability to reason, read and comprehend anything at all. Keep up the good work!
Ya know, i REALLY dont want to have to start moderating this forum heavily.

It must make your life difficult having P.O.S like these guys. Have fun moderating these forums. Look out for GENO, they are out of control esp now that they think they have some sort of support from the admins. How is that they are already coming off of more then one disappointing loss in a flame thread and not having some sort of action taken against them now? Seems as if its "ok" now, but just two days ago, flame threads were such a bad thing. If you look where it was initiated, you'll see a succession of posts that were fine until that ugly monster reared its medusa-like head.

Actually, if your *rage edit* would quit rearing up, this whole thing would be over. Apparently you feel the need to continue on your chosen path of *rage edit*. Funny how you claim we're flaming (which this is of course) and yet you continue to toss wood on the flame. The initial posts were to explain our side of the story, as Spynes had already made up his mind to forfeit us. Yes, we should have gone to Polaris in the first place, but we didn't. From now on, it will go straight to him if someone contests something without merit. Matter closed.

I would point out another post I wrote regarding becoming the 2nd Admin, and I would suggest you think very hard about my proposal, because if its put into place, threads like these will become persona non grata.

-Don't say you weren't warned
