anyone know of a service that will allow us to host MW4? Maybe a silly question but we need to get one of our own
check with the ELI guys. i think they have someone hosting their server for them.
Eli's server was hosted by ECGN

If you have ever played on ELI's then you know where not to go for a server...lol

well it used to be pretty bad but now they have switched or upgraged.
i play that one a lot and for me the ping is alway low 39-100. and runs fine with 22/22 ppl, but that is just me.

when its filled with about 20 bots ofcours it scares people away . but that, and whoever hosts Banzai's Yarr server are about the only server hosts that have MW4 Mercs avaliable.
Ever been on coms with twysted nipplits? No one ever takes damage , theres so much lag he can't see any shots that hit him. And i couldn't count the number of times n00b or some version of n00b comes out of his mouth. His 56k canadien connection might be the problem , not the server.
*hovers over the lock thread button*

try to keep it looking clean here
hey watch who your calling canadian!

my canadian cable connection has great ping to them, and i know keeg's is fine cuz hes playing on there all the time as well.

Banzai Yarr is also a ECGN server as is =CMO= Dedicated. I've had the server about 2 weeks now. We've had no real playing problem with ping or playability. The problems we've had have been mainly from trying to get the extra maps installed, lockups with Telnet, etc. Things that if the server was in your house, you'd just reboot and go on, but in our case you can't cause it's somewhere's else. I do have to say tho that ECGN staffers have been real good about responding to tech support inquiries in a speedy manner. Overall, I'd say, that short of having a server in your own house or the house of one of your clanmates, it's the next best thing.
