the W32.Klez@mm worm virus, Psicotic ad I are getting this a whole bunch now, Im at least getting it like 4 times a day and getting murdered with it (thankyou Norton my savior) But im wondering if any head captains of the team are getting this virus???

I was getting it a couple of weeks ago about 7or 8 times a day for like 3 weeks but no for some reason I dont get it anymore. My norton Email scan saved my ass big time as well.
klez was a nasty virus i remember gettin in emails as well.
I am sure a lot of people who think they are being smart by shutting down Antivirus programs to free up resources are learning the hard way that it's a nasty world out there.

Once the offender figures out they no longer have an operational system the emails stop comming. You will see klez come in batches like that.

I dont know what to say maybe their is a way here at twl you can hide the email addys and only be given them by an private message center, I know im asking to much, just this killed me and dont want nyone else to suffer like i am trying not to spread this to everyone on my email list

Sounds like you are using MS or Netscapes built in Email client.
1 Way to help

If you are using Outlook then set the security to "Restricted SItes Zone"

How damn hard is it For MS to actually set that as default.
But Nooooooo Too easy. TOS**S
im using outlook express and cant find restricted sites zone

You guys want to get an EMAIL provider that links to the RBL (realtime black hole list). This list is updated with sites that send malicious content which includes but not limited to sites that send out viruses frequently. Many use the RBL to drop emails of that nature and many don't.

Have had no trouble with this virus, but it is the worst one out there now with its variations. I would stay away from Outlook express, and get a good anti-virus program like Panda. I had a different virus once, and had to send the file to Panda to be checked out, and Yahoo scanned it with Norton and found it clean. In other words, Norton did not see it.
