Issues with new patch

Hello all, im new as you can see.

I just updated the new patch today as i have been away from the PC a few days. The game did work perfectly fine before i patched, but now anytime I click on "novaworld" to goto game servers my PC locks up. This is only after I update. If im not updated the "novaworld" pulls up just fine then prompts me to update. I have uninstalled and reinsalled 3 times now. i have tried the auto update and also downloading the patch itself and updating with it. Any issues you can think of that might cause this?

Also, no other game I have has any issues (DFBHD, FarCry, DOOM 3 or America's Army)

When you uninstall the game, did you erase the folder where it was installed in ? Some stuff are staying on the hard drive even when you uninstall. Need to delete the folder after the uninstall.

Another thing. Did you check your router settings ? If you have one, I suggest you try to update the firmware on it. I saw some problems connecting to Novaworld with router issues. Looks like a connection problem, probably nothing to do with the game on your PC.

I could be wrong but maybe you have what I've been having since the "Nasty Update".

When I start or shut down the game the lights on my external dsl modem go nuts blinking on and off. I've learned to wait until the atm light comes back on solid before I click the novaworld tab. If I click on the novaworld tab before this light stays on, I sit on the connecting screen forever. The time frame I wait is how long the intro takes. Nova's making sure I see it everytime.

No router. Was a complete uninstall, folder and all. Modem doesnt act up any and I let it sit for over 15 minutes once and it was on the same screen. i cant even ctrl+alt+del out. i have to do a hard reboot.

Well, nevermind... I id try bypassing my hub for the heck of it and it worked fine... Put the hub back on and its working ok. Guess it needed a kick start..Oh well...Off to kill. Thanks.
