Zero Tolerance for Cheaters

Historical capture recovered from the Wayback Machine · captured 2005-01-23 · 5 posts
Today I busted 3 people cheating, 2 were activly on ladder rosters.

EoT.Redneck
BMF-furpit
nemesis2004 AB

Now I won't go into what squads they are with as the founders have been notified. I don't suspect the squad knew that the player was cheating.

They are permanently banned from TWL.

The only way they can get unbanned is if PB unfairly banned them. This requires Evenbalance to remove the player from the MBL.

If they happen to succeed in getting removed from the MBL then they must email one of us to verify and then we will unban the account.

The PB Ban Appeal Method is Listed here:
http://www.punksbusted.com/modules.php?name=Content&pa=showpage&pid=63

If I catch anyone else the I will post the names here as a reply.

There will be no flaming if you know the squad these smacktards are on. If you do then you will suffer the consequences of it.

In case you want to defend them and say something stupid like "They were testing a cheat for the squad" or "it was my brother" or "it was the sheep" or "it wasn't in a match"

Let me say I honestly don't care. They ended up on the MBL and until they are removed (if ever) they will be unable to compete.

Now purchasing another CD will not be justifiable reason for ban removal.

and

NEVER TEST A CHEAT. It is not worth the hassle

PS If a player was falsly accused and can get removed then I apologize for the name calling and such.

i don't know the whole story but, all I can say is PB caught something when you were playing, not just on your server.

Anyway, if you are not on the list, it's great for you, but you can't break the "image" that people are getting when they see your name on different sites. Hope this is all fixed and if it was an error well, good for you and your squad, but TWL will stand against cheating, it's up to the person caught to defend himself not to us. We have to protect teams here against it. Having an MD5Tool error, it's says something is wrong. I saw your name on 2 different servers, which one was our squad server. Be honest, will you let people in when stuff like that happens ? We can't let this go. MBL or not, we had suspicious evidance at that time. If everything is classified now, all I can say is welcome back and sorry for having you out of TWL, but again, we had to do it until the situation was clear.

Why bother deleaying at all.

If they are on the MBL then they can't play at all.

AllOutWar was on the hardware ban list for PB. That means he tried some third party software (whether intentional or not) to modify or bypass the PunkBuster software.

Like he and every cheater is told once they prove their innocence they can return.

So far not one accused and banned cheater has said or shown us anything to say otherwise other than the excuses they provide.

If I was "accidently" banned by PB for a "mistake" I would have forwarded that email to the admin that banned me.

So far nothing.

EoT.Redneck and nemesis2004 AB have been removed from the MBL.

Their accounts have been unbanned.

They are allowed to compete as they normally would.

I apologize to them for what happened but I had no choice. We use the MBL and they were on it for a short time.

If I have missed anyone please email me your account name and I will look it up.
