AA/AF on a 9800pro?

Is anyone else having trouble playing this game with AA enabled? I get framerates in the 10-20 fps at times with 2xAA/4xAF enabled, settings set to normal. (3ghzCPU & 1gb ram).
AA/AF should be off if you are concerned with framerates. I suggest running at 1600X1200/AA,off/AF,bilinear. You'll get great picture quality and your framerates should be around 30 to 60.
What do you think of that video card?

Would you reccomend it?
I'd recommend the 9800pro if you can live with missing out on some of the eye candy.

Its unplayable at times with 2xAA/4xAF turned on - even at 800x600 - mainly when you get around a flag and there's action going on. Its entirely limited by the vid card - i tuned my barton 2500+ CPU up and down 400mhz each way - no effect on framerate using FRAPS.

Like Rufus says if you switch it off, it plays easily at higher resolutions like 1024x768, and even 1280x1024. This gives plenty of fine definition and looks great. 1600x1200 turns into a slide-show for me when there's lots of action.

Its perhaps fickle - but the environments look so much better with AA/AF turned on - and i hoped the 9800pro would pull it off - unfortunately not.

I dont use aa/af w/ jo, since it gave me trouble. Usually get 40+ frames (avg more like 50-60) @ 1280 w/ 3.0c, 1 gig & raptor. I like the card fine(was a geforce user).
