account problem

I have a friend trying to join my css roster but he cant because his old account has his steam id info on it. He tried logging in to his old account but he doesn't remember his password. So he does the forget password to try and get it back but his msn account(scorpion_386@msn.com) has been deactivated. Is there a way you cant delete his old account(mettal) so he can enter the info in his new one.

Simply put, no.

Have your friend post please.

Ok, he posted. I deleted the post to avoid a borked thread due to a deleted account. I put his email from his new account on to his old account and then deleted his new account.
He should get an activation email to be able to retrieve the old account with.

Thank You for the help.
