Cannot Join team - asks for guid that is already there

Hello.

I have read the threads on adding the GUID, and have added my 8 digit GUID to my profile on this site. When I attempt to join my team, it tells me I must first add my GUID, but I already have.

Any ideas what I have done wrong?
